Is there a posting order? or do we just post when our character has something to do?
There is no particular posting order, no. However, I would prefer if characters did not get left behind.
I should have specified this at the start, sorry.
Might not be an issue, but I'm going back to work this week so there might be some delay with posting. I posted just now, so today is probably covered, but I might be gone for most of the day throughout the week.
That's fine, friend. Life always comes first.

IMPORTANTPictured above is how the ship is laid out, with a few rooms added for RP reasons.
A few points:
Door control and surveillance control are in the same room next to weapons.
The ship features 3 weapons, a small raigun turret, a small shield piercing missile turret, and a large main battery laser cannon.
The railgun turret and the missile turret are reloaded automatically via an ammo belt system (But can be reloaded manually if need be), and the laser cannon does not need reloading (It gets it's power directly from the reactor, and cannot be fired if the reactor is knocked out).
In the event of a reactor failure the ship can function on a backup battery for a while at minimal function (FTL jumps with a long wind up time and basic piloting).
The ship DOES NOT have access to drone control.
The ship DOES have access to teleportation.
The medical station also serves as a basic lab.
Crew responsibilities are as follows:
Pilot pilots
Captain captains
Marine is in charge of weapons and security (Cameras and doors) and also takes part in all boarding parties.
Engineers oversee engines, reactors, and hull repairs.
Medic heals but also oversees general science.
For the sake of keeping things interesting, combat is handled via dice rolls I will be making behind the scenes. When somebody goes to make a skill/combat related action, I will roll a D20 with a predetermined DC and will post in the results. I also have control over all NPCs
EXAMPLE 1:
Posted by: BobBob goes to disarm the old lady and subdue herPosted by: Oedipus RexRoll of 18 with a DC of 10Bob successfully disarms the lady, the turnip that she was previously using as a weapon falls to the floor as he performs a well executed tombstone pile-driver on her. She is rendered unconscious.EXAMPLE 2:
Posted by: SarahSarah attempts to revive the old lady so that she may learn her secret butterscotch pudding recipe.Posted by: Oedipus RexRoll of 2 with a DC of 10Sarah attempts to inject the old lady with a revival serum, but instead accidentally injects her with Weretypus saliva. The old lady quickly transforms into a human-platypus hybrid. Her weak old heart, however, can't take the pressure of being a mammal that lays eggs, and explodes. She dies instantly. If anybody has a better idea of how combat should be handled feel free to let me know. I'm just making this up as I go.
