[Fable]

(I'd be fine with that)
"sleep well Ser?" Fable asks with a chuckle. Ze was sitting along the back wall of the bar with their computer set up in front of them. Fable looked busy at work but was really just playing a game.

[serpington]

Ser yawned and stretched happily, leaning back to look behind himself over at Fable. "It was rather pleasant. Hope I didn't miss out on anything to exiting."

[Fable]

"few arguments, few people came and went, honestly I'm surprised you could sleep through it!" Fable says"an impressive talent to block out noise like that"

[serpington]

"Ahhh, one of the few benefits of these useless reptilian ears, they're useless if you're not paying attention." Rolling off the table calmly Ser walked over and sat near fable, ordering a pot of tea. "Would you like anything Fable?"

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Al was sitting a slight ways down the bar, taking somewhat of a nap himself.

[Fable]

"Reptilian ears are extraordinarily pointless" Ze agrees with a nod "More of a hassle than anything. And no thanks, I just had something not long ago." With Ser sitting closer its quite obvious the hacker isn't working but just playing games, so ze simply offers Ser one of their slightly larger controllers. "Wanna join?"

[serpington]

Lightly tapping next to his eyes Ser smiled and leaned back on the counter. "My eyes don't exactly work well with things like screens.... or reading for that matter. It's one of the biggest drawbacks to my sight."

[Fable]

Fable turns a very bright pink, ze already knew Ser was blind but he gets around so well it's easy to forget! *small cough in embarrassment* "sorry"

[serpington]

He laughed a little and took the pot of pot of tea, pouring himself a drink. "Don't be, no harm done. I do kinda miss being able to use my eyes though." He let out a little sigh and smiled softly. "To think, I don't actually know anything about what any of you look like other than your shape."

[Fable]

Fables never asked this before and doesn't exactly know if Ser would be willing to answer. "If i could ask.... How did you lose your sight?" Fable asks cautiously

[serpington]

"Oh that?...... That was a long time ago. You know how people are when they're young and talented, all over confident and stupid." Ser took a long sip of his tea, taking a moment to think. "there was an accident back in my homeland, a ship exploded, I got blamed and the resulting chemicals that got flung around blinded me and hurt others. It was..... hard to adjust at first, but you get the hang of it."

[Fable]

"you seem very talented at getting along now." Fable says honestly, Ser's ability to get around is very impressive. "you say you are able to see our shape, correct?"

[serpington]

"Correct. But it's more the energy moving through you more than you yourself. Think of it like this, everything that has any kind of energy passing though it I can see, kind of like a shark's 6th sense. Mix that with the enhanced sense of smell my forked tongue gives me and I can get a pretty decent idea of my surroundings."


He slowly finished the cup and sat it aside. "I tell people apart by their smell and energy, but it's rather complicated."

[Fable]

"It's fascinating," Fable says distracted by filing that information away and thinking it all through. Fable pauses the game and opens up some different files and reads through all of it quickly while also saying "I have to admit, you are a very interesting man."

[serpington]

"Ha, the 'man' is the least interesting part of my little freak show. Perhaps you may persuade me into teaching you more if not for your enjoyment of documenting everything you learn." He poured himself another drink of tea, not meaning what he had said as an insult. "Not that doing s is a bad thing, just some of us like to keep our secrets off the books."
