Al's expression turned blank, trying to give away no emotion or thought. He looked Ser up and down analysing his stance, his left eye still blue. He's got every point of attack guarded. Best approach would be a strong hit that he can't parry, that way I can move in with simultaneous strikes. Al approached carefully but quickly, gripping his sword in his left hand.

Ser visible relaxed, closing his eyes and swapping his sword into his right hand, holding it backhand as if not even guarding himself as Al moved closer. This was all a feint though, he had narrowed his senses down to just Al and the area immediately around him, 'watching' the energy move through his opponent. Putting on the grin he'd become notorious for and licking his lips to taste the air he charged forwards directly at Al, inviting the first attack.

Shoon followed the 2 outside interested to watch how things go.
After exiting Shoon walked about away to be out of harms way. Shoon frowend he dosent. Have his DMR with him to use the scope to inspect the fight.

Al stopped dead in his tracks, readying himself for the coming blow. He kept watch of his opponent, not taking an eye off of him. He instead used his other senses to monitor his surroundings. The wolf kept a foot back, should he need to dodge, and gripped his katana in both hands. Al knew that there was no point trying to fein attacks. Ser was too skilled to not see through it.

Sliding to a stop to the left of Al he kept low with his weapon mostly hidden behind his body, braving any attacks he may have to dodge as the end of his long tail wrapped around the sheath of the blade. Grinning wide he feined an attack, jabbing the hilt of the sword towards Al's left knee to move his guard before letting the hilt of the blade slip from his fingers, quickly bringing it around like a mace with his whip-like tail aiming for Al's right shoulder.

Al went to counter the feined attack, but not with his sword. He went to knee it. Seeing that it was feined, he swung his sword into a blocking position, stopping the attack. After he stopped it, he quickly retaliated, pressuring Ser's sword outwards, while moving in with a shoulder charge.

Bracing the best he could Ser took the shoulder against his own, allowing himself to be pushed back he rolled out of the push while using the momentum to attack with his tail again. Bringing his tail around for an uppercut style attack, using the distracting to get back on his feet in a crouching position. Ready and poised to strike he pulled his tail back towards himself, not worried about the success of the first attack he lunged forward again, taking hold of his sword again and quickly striking towards Al's right side ribs, lifting his knee to try and hit Al in the gut if the sword strike should fail.

Al narrowly dodged the uppercut slice, and took a few steps back after he did. He was beginning to see what Ser's strategy was, but still needed to see him fight a bit longer before he could form anything concrete. Seeing the sword swing around for his ribs, Al moved the sword to block it, tensing his abs at the point of impact to avoid being winded too heavily. Taking the hit to the gut, Al countered with a head-on-head collision, using the left side of his head since that was were his implant was.

Ser twisted his body to the side and locked one of his legs between Al's in preparation and to help take the hit of the headbutt without being to staggered. letting his sword drop next to his feet he shifted his weight and, with the help of his tail, attempted to take Al's legs out from under him. Using the positions of their body to hide him grabbing his sword again with one of his hand like feet.

Al allowed the tail to take his legs out, dropping his sword so that his hands were free. Upon contact with the ground, Al rolled over and jumped back to a stand, picking his sword up and spacing himself. Yes... Yeah, I can see what he's doing... Now... How to counter that tail of his... The wolf closed his eyes and took a deep breath out, letting his body relax. "You're very good. I would've expected nothing less of you than to at least be my equal." Al grinned. It had been a while since someone has challenged him this well, and he was enjoying it.

Serpington laughed and rested his head on his hands, relaxing his body again as he lay there letting Al study him. His sword was safely under his feet and his tail coiled up under his raised knees, waiting to see what would happen next. "Why thank you, I was expecting you would be the more aggressive fighter though. Lith here isn't the most offense capable sword you know..... well as he is anyway."

Al's left eye turned red. "Well, you see, I like to take the smart approach to these fights. No point just rushing in and getting hit." His vision began to speed up, and the world around him seemed to slow down a little. "But, I think I've sized you up enough to know how to approach you. Prepare yourself." Al gripped his sword in both paws, and took another deep breath out.

you're an anti-hero?: No one knows anything about The Merchant, some people speculate he's not even from this world. What make's him an anti-hero? Well it's not that he kills people or doesn't, it's that he supplies the killers and crooks. He has no morals for who he sells to. Only the cash.

"I hope you've been studying hard." He waited patiently, knowing that he'd have to react quickly to whatever happened next but he was going to let Al make the next move. "Come on, lets get this fight really started."

Al's face went blank again as he kept both eyes on Serpington, staring him down. The wolf then charged straight ahead. He still didn't have a plan to counter the tail directly, but moved his sword into his left hand to keep his right one free. He was purposefully moving in a very linear fashion, trying to lure Ser into thinking that he was going for a fully offensive approach.
