Any idea for an AMD Gaming PC?
« on: December 03, 2016, 03:56:55 PM »
My birthday as yesterday, and I was thinking on getting a Gaming PC, but I can't quite find the best hardware, as long it isn't an Intel, I'm aiming for AMD, and I'm aiming HIGH, something like Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Scalebound and Final Fantasy VII in maximum settings on SteamVR!
I was going to get it on a build your PC store, so is cheaper, but I need to tell 'em the hardware I'm looking for, or they'll choose it for me, so what hardware would you recommend me? not less than a 9.2 on game-debate.com, and please the whole thing, GPU, Processor, Motherboard, ETC...
also, please check my other thread: https://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?topic=35046.0 that would help a lot too!

I suggest you wait just a little longer. AMD currently has almost nothing that really competes with Intel outside the low-end/budget range. Graphics cards are a little better but you'll still be buying either a cheap budget-oriented card or overspending with AMD at this current moment in time.

They do however seem to be planning new releases and rumors expect new models as soon as 2-3 months from now.

I'd wait to around February-March and see if their new models are any good before buying anything AMD right now.

imma go with what timmy said just know that amd is budget and intel is more power horse (heck you get get their old celerons on new boards for 60 bucks that puts you close to their I range) but just know intel is also close to relese and they play a game with kicking amd butt right after relese nvidia do this aswell

also why no intel?
