Dawnstride passed slowly over the sand, his hinds paws touching the cool substance and his body twisting as the waves did only several feet away from him. His eyes where closed for the moment, as he had done so often when he threaded over the shores near his home. At least he called it his home, for in his heart he knew that there was no home for him, not in this lifetime, and not in the million lifetimes. He was merely a tool in his own eyes, and his life was worth less then that of an animal in his own eyes. He knew though that he was stronger then many a person that wandered around, and his might was not shrouded by remorse of compassion, for his destiny had been placed before him so many years ago...
His path would ultimately lead to his own destruction, yet his mission was simple, to challenge those that he met to the field of battle, and make sure that only one of them did thread away once more. His physical fury knew few bounds, even as his magical might had always been somewhat minor.
He smiled slightly as he sniffed the air, his nostrils seeking out the scents of the creature's that threaded near him, his feet feeling the vibrations that passed through the ground with each step that was made, his ears listening to each breath that was taken. He knew that few had hopes of sneaking up on him, for he could even pick up the subtle hum that magic seemed to make, he could feel the very strands of magic as if he touched them, and he could see the trails of where magic had been for more then a day after the spell had been cast...
