Hi there! I'm Figment


I've been in the furry fandom for a while now, been an outlier before that. Dragons have always been my passion and I collect everything that has dragons on it, from Plushies to ornaments and even furniture.


I'm very fond of fantasy and science fiction books and movies. My favourite kinds of games are Strategy and resource management games.

Could you mention some examples of fantasy and sci-fi books, as well as movies you enjoy the most?

I can see that from the icon yes XD I was actually just looking at your cookbook thread :P since it's around dinner time here and I'm pondering what to make.


Some of the books I like are : The Dragonriders of Pern, The Dresden Files, The Hollows Series and many others. As for movies, Reign of fire is still pretty high on my list of favorites, Zootopia was nice and I did like the alien movies quite a bit.

I am considering starting a thread in it as I do like to experiment and I always end up cooking when ever I play D&D at a friends place XD;


The dragonriders of pern are amazing -nods- it laid the ground work for the eragon series, the way dragons function in it. They're from the late sixties/early seventees and fall under science fiction ^^
Never heard of the Rhapsody series.. but if it has a dragon in it I'm game for it -thumbs up-

I am dragon, myself, despite what my name implies. Which reminds me, if you wish, you may call me Rom. Some here call me Romulan for short, but though I find that amusing, it gives a trek vibe that they refer to me as a Romulan. Regardless...

Sci-fi and fantasy, huh? I get into both myself. In fact, I know of a book involving dragons (of a sort, and if you read the book, you will know what I mean) fighting off an alien invasion. The details... cannot be mentioned here. But I will tell you it is the first book in a planned series of six.

We can talk more of it later, though. Welcome to TFF, and do enjoy your stay.

I'm afraid I'm not too good with skyrim refferences Rom XD though I recognise them well enough. I'm actually incapable of playing the game much to my dismay. Motion sickness is a curse.


But nice too meet you either way. The book your describing actually sounds a lot like the basic plot of the pern books XD so thats promising I guess.
