Island survival RP

[Fable]

So while watching some cartoons I was reminded of the pilot episode of Lost. And then that got me thinking that it could be a pretty fun RP.


The idea is a basic copy of Lost's pilot episode: Plane crashes on an island and now the survivors need to figure out how to work together and survive.
To make things interesting-odd things may happen along the island and people may find/ hear strange things. weather would of course be a pain in the butt- raining horribly, amazingly hot, and then terrible humidity to top it off.
A struggle where each fursona would have to really work together or work against the others and throw a monkey wrench into the works.


I want to know if people would really be interested in this idea and I would like peoples opinion on if people would be more interested if this was a serious RP or kept in the fun RP and kept more casual.
so please tell me what you think and if anyone's interested Ill go ahead and write it up.

I wanna make sure i try and make this as fun as possible so any advice would be good.
In a serious RP I would probably have a sign up so there isn't randomly a new person to fall from the sky but wouldn't necessarily need people to respond all the time and could use the excuse of being out savaging or exploring.

I like the idea of serious, but also more casual. The idea of not having random people dropping by also sounds pretty good, with a Serious RP you could better filter that sort of thing (as far as I know), and you can have signups and otehr OOC stuff in its appropriate OOC board too

I think I will be putting it in serious RP, like you said for a bit of consistency with people dropping in.
I'll wait a bit longer though just to see if anyone else pops in and has suggestions before I write up sign ups and such.

maybe if after the story gets going, and lets say a few people want to join afterwards, we could figure out some way for them to naturally join the story, like a lift raft finally making its way to the shore or something. just some way to make their entrance somewhat realistic (not really sure thats the word i want but hopefully I'm making a tiny bit of sense)

I've only ever seen the first season of lost so I'd say probably it will deviate a lot though we could always throw in elements from the show and come up with interesting mysteries to add in on our own.
If you have any big twists youd like to see in the story I'd love to hear them =)
