Not sure if they're mottos, but they're definitely my favorite quotes/ quotes I live by. xP

"Seeing death as the end of life, is like seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean."

Then there's this quote that kinda became popular in away messages.. D:
but it's always stuck with me and I find it a really good quote to live by.

"You have to take the good with the bad,
smile with the sad, love what you've got,
and remember what you've had.
Always forgive, but never forget.
Learn from mistakes, but never regret.
People change, things go wrong..
but just remember: life goes on."

Annd there's this poem that I'm in love with.. It holds a lot of meaning.

"I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings:

The free bird leaps
on the back of the wind
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wings
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.

But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and
his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings
with fearful trill
of the things unknown
but longed for still
and is tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird sings of freedom

The free bird thinks of another breeze
and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing

The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird sings of freedom. "

After I heard that poem for the first time, I couldn't stand to see birds in cages.. still cant. ;_;

LOL thats hularious.

Hey how bout You think I am done but I have not yet begun to fight.
Read the left column then the right column

Times change, and promises are broken        |   Life is short
Life goes on and yet it stops                        |   Yet the soul is eternal
I have much to give so have this token         |   Your words a port
And get some chocolate from the shops        |   For feelings, internal

Life is short so do not wait                          |   Go seek the love
Take love by the horns                               |   Who's soul is yours
Loyalty is a wonderful trait                           |   They are your dove
But be wary of a rose's thorns                     |   Who's love is lores

Things that live                               |   Join now in the search
Must always die                               |   And find your love
Yet do not dive                              |   They'll be your perch
Into this lie                                     |   As you are their dove

I can't stand to see birds in cages either. It's like an oxymoron. The animal that least needs to be caged is the one most often in one.
The shadow of the dome of pleasure floated midway on the waves, where was heard the mingled measure from the fountain and the caves. It was a miracle of rare device; a sunny pleasure-dome with caves of ice!

I don't exactly have a motto per say, but I do have a certain quote from the Robert  Frost poem "The Road Not Taken"

I don't have a motto persay, but I do live by a quote from Robert Frost's poem "The Road Less Taken" this being

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

I have always tried to walk my own path and not go with flow of things. Especially while in school.  :D

Yeah.. :/ It's just not right.
I get that people love animals and just wanna be close to them..
but why go so far as clipping their wings and caging them? ><

It's like how people declaw their cats so that they don't ruin the furniture,
yet they still let them outside all night.. how ignorant and selfish can you get? D:

Might get in trouble for the 'p' word. ._.
You should probably edit it out before a mod does.

Swearing isn't allowed here.
Regardless of whether or not it takes up most of my vocabulary. x3
