Hello everyone, I am new to the furry community so it is quite overwhelming to get my head around at the start, My furry character is a wolf, who has a blue/green mane and he also has blue eyes. I haven't finished my 'fursona' yet however still working on it. I am not sure if i will stay around, as I hardly can draw at all! I have a mild form of dyspraxia which makes drawing quite difficult for me. Does not being able to draw mean that i can't be a member of the furry community.
Does anyone have any advice on getting started? To be honest i don't think i described my character completely, it's hard to know what to write about!
(Haven't decided my character's name yet)
I'm 15 years old btw   (Not sure if i'm too young or not lol)

You don't need to draw to be a furry.  Many fuzzballs here do not.  You are always welcome. 

As for getting started, my advise is just do as good as you can.

Hi there, and welcome to the fandom! I can't draw for the life of me either so you're safe there. It's a decent start for the fursona, but it lacks details. What do you like/dislike, some special abilities, clothes or no clothes, things of that nature. There aren't really any requirements to be a part of the community, if you say you're in then you're in
For getting started, there are a bunch of threads around of things like fursona descriptions or about the fandom in general, you can read them and decide if you want to add things. But regardless of what you do, you're always welcome in here. I hope to see you around! Good luck and have fun!
And there's no real age restriction to be a furry. This forum is 13+ I believe, so you're safe there.

Hai Sluggor!! No you don't need to draw to be a furry! Nor can you be to young. TFF is home to the friendliest people/furs you will ever meet!
If you want some tips to get started, just browse some forums, maybe farm part in some roll plays. (They're really fun) oh also check out the food den ^-^

As other have pointed out, you don't need to draw in order to be part of the community or these forums ^^
Some people full-on draw, some people practise, some people just do a small doodle, and others don't draw at all.
I'm sorry to hear you have a form of dyspraxia. Regardless though, I hope you'll enjoy it here.

Yep, you can be a member of the fandom without being able to draw. Therefore you can ask some artists if they could draw something for you. (Request = for free ;; Commission = you have to pay for it)

I have never actually heard of a therian before, i will have to learn more about that! It's good to see that it helps you cope with your identity, and that the community here is very accepting!

That's most likely in order to prevent spamming. If you reply to the same thread in a certain amount of time, it will automatically merge it with the previous post.

Nah, you're just fine. You're a furry if you think it fits you. You don't have to be able to draw, you don't have to be over 18, you don't even need a picture of your fursone to be part of the fandom. And though the vast majority of the furries have a fursona, some furries don't even have that. If you want to have your character drawn, you can comission an artist or search for someone who is taking requests.
You can start wherever you want. There's the art, roleplay, stories, et cetera. And of course there's random goodness or just making friends as well. Take a look around, the furry fandom is full with nice stuff.
