Nari continued to  hit hun after hun assisting Skye and the others as they tried to thin their numbers, stopping only to reload her plasma rifle, taking only a few seconds to set in a fresh 'bottle' of energy, before retunring to shooting blue bolts of plasma at the huns.

Blaine grabbed his rifle, still dazed from the fall. He crawled to a fallen bookcase and propped himself up. Aiming around James, he fired through the front doors at moving riflemen. Adrenaline began pumping and the pain disappeared, letting him go all out. Moving around to the back, he dropped two Huns who managed to get inside.



The only Huns left were riflemen and officers. The only melee wielders had either gotten close enough to find a way in or were dead. The opposition was still fierce though, as the remaining Huns were dug in the field parallel to the library.

Ray loosed another shot, smearing another Hun officer across the field. However, the raccoon collapsed after the shot, his scarf held tightly between his teeth. Ray cradled his left arm with his stumped right, unable to even lift his weapon. His brain locked up in pain, not allowing him to change position or even seek cover. Ray was left completely exposed, and unable to defend himself.

As Gypsie kept running around resetting her traps, she would always check on Ray in between, so when she saw that he had moved, she ran to his side and pulled him into cover, then once that was done, she frantically searched up and down his body for injuries,  fishing through his clothing for blood.

((Hey sorry for being away so long but I'm back Just going to speed up my and Kai's storyline a little while he is away, so we sometime soon can join the group again))


They arrived at the abandoned shed next to the old laboratory entrance. Nitro got of the dirt and shot an explosive arrow at the old door, which shattered. He wandered into the shed and started to look through the mess. In the mess he found an old leaher bag marked with the explosive warning sign. He took the bag and planted next to steel entrance door. He the walked a distance and shot another explosive arrow at the bag which exploded. The explosion caused a hole in the door big enough to squeeze though.
Nitro looked a angela "Lets get going! "

She nodded and squeezed through the whole. Once inside, florescent lights flickered on. Thick dust covered every surface. She coughed and saw another, well-kept door.

[Blaiiine]

Blaine moved up next to James and helped return fire, occasionally wiping the blood from off his face. He took out a hand grenade, pulling the pin and tossing it at a group of Huns hiding by the porch.

James continued to mow down the Huns as he saw them, almost to the point where he shot at any shadow that moved. He made no sound as he fired the big gun. Any other person would bellow a war cry, or fill the air with arrogant taunts and insults to the enemy - but not James. He was as a machine, dispatching the Huns like one.

Nari continued to mow down more of the Huns from her side of the Library. like James she made no sound other than the occasional grunt when her plasma rifle ran out of ammo.

Unlike Nari, Gypsie was jumping around the windows, stabbing the huns that somehow made it to the building, all while having a childish grin on her face.    Through the process of doing this, she was effectively creating a metal grid on some of the windows, protecting those on the other side to a small extent.     

Gypsie managed to get to James, running beside him to kick two Huns away and killing them, after that she went to run back inside, sprawling down the stairs down as a bullet finally caught her, it pinning her shoulder, and the fall had knocked her out at the bottom of the stairs, but she was still alive.


Angel was still hiding in a secure storage vault on the main level, huddling in the corner, still having a mental breakdown, trying to block out the noises of gun fire.

As Nitro crawled through the hole he saw the door. "Ah the good old Mark-III security door" he mumbled. He walked over to the side of the door and started to fiidle with a box. "These old babies have a nasty habit of getting stuck" he said loudly. "And therefore we would make a secret bypass for these doors, in case they would get stuck and we wanted to go home" he opened the box and started to put in codes in form of numbers on a num pad. "If the codes are still the same as they were last time I was here we should be able to get inside in just a second" As Nitro finished up putting in the code the door started to make sound, like an old 2 tons metal plate being lifted from the ground. "There we go, now lets see what treasures we might find in this old laboratory"

As the door lifted she spotted a few things of interest right away. Caesium, half a full-body suit and lots of other interesting things

[Blaiiine]

The gunfire slowly died down, the remaining Huns retreating into the fields. The technical sat on it's top outside the library, burning and smoking. The building was a bullet ridden mess, windows shattered and siding falling apart.


Blaine leaned against the front door, rifle laid on his legs. He was silent for a moment before looking to James and laughing, "Damn, dude. We just held off an entire raiding party. Oh holy shi-" He said, seeing Gypsie wounded.


Stopping at her side, he pulled out a bandage and applied pressure to the wound on her shoulder. "Hey, I got you. Don't even trip." Blaine said, calmly.

James looked around, then asked, "Where's Angel?"

"The young dragon?" Nari asked passing by as she scouted the area seeing it clear. "Cowering behind the shelves in a corner, poor thing probably had a horrible experience with the Huns, whom which I  kinda freed her from.
