Blaine sighed, giving Ray the syringe which would dull his pain to a bearable state. He stood up, dusted his pants off and slung his rifle over his shoulder. Walking up to Skye, he took out a cigarette and tucked in his mouth. "What do you want to talk about?" Blaine asked.

"First thing I wanted to do is apologize for how I keep threatening you. As you can imagine... seeing James alive has thrown a lot of things into question for me, and my mind is a mess. Regardless, it is no reason for me to threaten you like that, and for that, I am sorry. James... is very important to me," Skye explained. "Second... I can sense our travels are taking us into the Texas region. If they are... there is... something there, something... I have to see, one last time. And if needs be, it can be a shelter for us all should we need it."

Ray sat up slowly as his pain faded. He looked at his arms, one broke and the other stumped. He sighed, and shook his head. "Useless..." He looked at the others in shame.
I cannot shoot. I cannot scout. I have no purpose with these warriors.

"Texas is still a few days of driving ahead but that's good news." Blaine replied, looking back to Ray. "Kid's been through a lot over the night. You two possibly find any medical prosthetics down there, by any chance?" He asked, hoping to lift Ray's spirits with something to replace his missing paw.

[Lawleit]

"What is," She asked inquiringly as she went to look through the vials of goop and active chemicals. She found something she knew well. A vial of the only thing she could drink/eat. "I'll keep this thank you." She said as she stuffed it into her chest rig.

"it's my old project which is illigal so I had to hide it." Nitro took the box and hopened it. Inside there was 8 vials with different color in the bottom. "With the blood sample I got from Angel I should now be able to finally finish this project"
Nitro prepaired the work station by tourning on a bunsen burner and a eletron microscope. "If I'm correct a component in the blood should be able to stabilize my project"
Nitro started to work on his project. "If this works I will have a little surprise for the group when we get back to them"

"Which Angel?" She raised her eyebrows. She went back to searching. She whistled. "Found the gooood stuff," she called, lifting a vial of non-nutonic fluid. It kept shifting from a solid to a liquid then building a new shape. She slipped it into a pocket and went to the half body suit. "The 'ol TALOS..."

"You know the dragon called Angel who is tagging along with the group?"
Nitro slowly introduced the blood sample to the heat of the bunsen burner which made is glow slightly
"Uh I think I just hit jackpot"
he took a small sample out of the vial and put it into a beaker with water. He then took a sip of the water and sample mixture.
"Hmm yes, this is definitily the thing I need"

"Oh, that dragon." She continued to prod and pull at wiring. "Interesting"

"Texas is still a few days of driving ahead but that's good news." Blaine replied, looking back to Ray. "Kid's been through a lot over the night. "No, but assuming we don't find any along the way, there's a medbay in the shelter I mentioned - fully capable of replacing lost limbs," Skye said. "Something James had installed... just in case."

A loud air horn could be heard as Nari honked the horn on the new Humvee. "I hate to interrupt,but daylight is fading fast and soon the creepy crawlies of the night are going to come I suggest we head inside for the night."

Angel wandered out to Nari after picking up Gypsie. Gypsie walked beside Angel, as the glowing dragon supported her.   Gypsie spoke up, "We're... coming... god my head hurts...", Angel nuzzled Gypsie, a concerned look on her face, "You be okay?", Angel asked Gypsie, "Uh... yeah... I'll be fine... I think...", Gypsie said, rubbing her wrappings on her head.

As the sun began to set, Angel and Gypsie both lit up a bit, with Angel's markings and fur base pulsing a soft glow of their respective colors, and Gypsie having bio-luminescent tattoos over her body in no particular pattern, but she looked like someone from a glow rave... minus the glow sticks, and only red glowing body paint.

Ray stood slowly, and nodded. "We cannot stay here. Huns will investigate lost group."

[Blaiiine]

"Ray's right. That firefight is gonna draw reinforcements or raiders, let's pack up and we'll get a few miles away before finding shelter," Blaine said, walking to the porch. His bag was undamaged, luckily enough. Grabbing it, Blaine walked to the old Humvee and tossed it in. "Ray, Skye, Gypsie and James. You'll be with me, we'll stay behind Nari's ride since we have wounded." He ordered, climbing in the driver's seat.
