I've been using the term for myself even before I actually was a furry (I'm not one now but still keep that name lmao), so it definitely isn't a bad thing to use in my opinion. Bit of self awareness can also prevent 'some people' from having a go at you

Personally I've only ever seen it as some sort of self-deprecating joke, and from the limited searching I've done, most other appear to do the same. Unless I've missed something, I don't think you've got anything to worry about, so don't feel bad about it ^^'

In this context, "furry trash" is just being used on the assumption that all furries are zoophiles. Basically, "furry trash" still just refers to furries.

And yes, it's usually used by the attention-...escorts, so I wouldn't exactly use it anyway.

It is a silly joke!

It's a self-deprecating humor but humor none the less, a lot of furries will call themselves furry trash for fun, it shows that you have some humility and you're able to make fun of yourself. Don't stress too much

Also furry trash doesn't mean what you think it means. It may of meant that at one stage but if that's the case the definition has evolved. Furry trash just means a furry who is "bad" or "cringey", this may include the furries you speak of but may also include just generally cringey or weird furries.

I see it as simply calling yourself "trash", basically. I put it up on my insta profile for a while, and no one really cared. I think if you call yourself it, its not necessarily in THAT context. Kinda just shows you've succumbed to being an anthropomorphic animal online, and you had have no regrets lmao
