Looking outside the window I can barely make out what appears to be a Chatot, and couple Pidgeys and Fletchling flying south
"must be flying to somewhere warm"

? nods their head  " yes pwease! "  ? tilts head at the birds

Takes the steak and cuts it into smaller pieces for ?
"that should be easier for you.... are they?, they are, Starly, Staravia, and Staraptor, they must be flying south for the coming winter, must be fun to fly, must be colder up in the air" looking down at ? eating steak "I will try to catch some rest" off in the distance the faint sound of a Lilipup barking happy as I slowly fall asleep.

" thankz! "  ? starts to nom on the pieces happily and looks up, not quiet hearing the middle part " okie dooiez, nighty nightz Firox  "   ? movez closer to the warm fur but looks up at the barking noise

As night passes, snow lightly falling in town.
Not sure at what time ? fell asleep, I already was.


9 hours pass by, I gets awaken in a strange way.
The 2 canine Pokemon where already awake, the mother had asked the younger ones to wake me to get me ready for the trip, good thing that ? sleeps in the mane fur.
"wake up sleepy head, the day starting" one of the Growlithe pups jumping all around me, lightly pushing and pulling at random fur.
I roll to one side "five more minutes" but the pups keep playing and start to lightly give waking barks

? went around the room exploring during the night looking for the barking sound.




and ? eventually just passed out tew sleep near where the pups and Arcanine was. Is lying on the floor a sleep, with paws spread out and tiny bitz a drool going out of maw as they let out their little squeaky snore

Goes over to pick up the sleeping ? and sets ya on the mane fur, going over with Mariah, and the pups
"thanks for letting us stay, we really appreciate it, next time we come to town we will remember to visit"
before leaving I decide to play with the pups for a bit and getting something sweet from the store.


"Sadly, we must get going back home, we came into town to pick up medicine and food supply. We live about halfway through the mountain, if you like you can visit us, my name is Firox"
"bye there, have fun and thanks" one of the pups manages to bark as I start heading back the way we came.


About 3 hours of walking later in the snow and slightly slower from the bags of supply we approach the same wooden and slippery bridge. Hope the long walk was enough rest for ?
"well, here we go again"


Just as I'm ready with the rope and clips, a short yelp is heard just below the bridge.

? gently starts to wake up and startz looking all about  " eeep where am I? "  ? is confused as they didn't fallz asleep there

"No worries, while you slept I was walking back towards the den, the pups did leave you a small dessert, they will visit us in the summer time...    what's that noise?"
As the short yelp is heard again
"I should go check it out"


Slowly walking below the bridge, moving some leaves around trying to find the source of the sound.


After a bit of searching, found the sound.
An Emolga caught in a trap by back paws, been trying to get freed for a while, looks exhausted, cold, and has a few scratch marks must be from trying to escape
"awww, you looks in slight rough shape, I'll help out, just give me a chance"

? watches the emolga from the mane and looks up at Firox " Anything I can do tew helpz? " they ask nervously

[Firox]

"in my larger backpack have some bandages you can take them out and have them ready, I'll try to cut off the trap first"


While waiting for ? to take out the bandages, I start cutting the tight caught rope, trying to calm down Emolga so it doesn't shock us with electricity
in a soothing voice "no worries, we will get you out, and even have something warm for you to eat, not too long to go, you been brave all this time"


After a while was able to get the two tight ropes off, seeing that it only has just a couple scratches nothing bad.

? quickly starts handing over the bandages and tries to also comfort the emolga " It will be okayz "

[Firox]

After getting freed, I can see that it's still shivering can't tell if its from being scared or being for so long in the cold, must be both
"here let me get the scratches taken care of"
gently taps dry with a small towel and wraps up the small scratches
"there we go all set and ready, I'm Firox"
setting the smaller Emolga on my head tuft, warming up the air and also warming up some hot cocoa and a pastry and passing it to it
"here you Emolga, something warm, thanks ? it helped out a lot, your so good"
"thanks you two" the small Emolga managed to squeak out while warming up


Looking at the distance, can see the Ursaring's cave up ahead, first we need to cross the bridge

? smiles and feels proud " ya welcomes "  happily sips some cocoa.   " eeep! scawy bridge! "  they holds onto the fur extra tightly

[Firox]

After filling it's belly too, the smaller Emolga flies down to ? and cuddles warmly


Like last time, attaching clips to the bridge and a rope to prevent from slipping down, also making sure that the supply bag is securely attached, don't want to loose the medication anytime

slowly walking across, the sides not too bad, it's just the middle part where it's slippery - this time I'm prepared
