"Bien, no puede ponerse mucho peor." [Well, it can't get much worse.]
Were the final words Victor uttered as he quickly moved down the sidewalk, occasionally glancing behind him. Then he heard the explosion, followed by sirens.
"Oh bueno, puede empeorar." [Oh good, it can get worse.]
Groaning, the wolf placed a paw on his face and yanked off his beret in anger. It was a simple plan, it was impeccable. Now, half the police force was heading to the building, and god knows what happened prior to the explosion. The canine was told this would be simple, he would deliver the package, he would be inconspicuous, and he would be paid. Looking down through his sunglasses, the wolf eyed the small paper packet he had hidden inside his button up shirt and shook his head. Obviously, he wouldn't be getting paid any time soon.
Reluctantly, the wolf decided to check out the building from afar, and get any details on what happened. Sighing, Victor placed his beret back on his head and started towards the large smoke plume rising into the sky. Luckily, the street was mostly empty, aside from another ambulance blazing by, at the moment due to poor weather. Through the rain however, Victor did notice a lone fox with an umbrella heading in the same direction.
