Holly shrugged, lightly cutting into her palm. Kai grabbed Holly's knife, closed it and stuffed it into her pocket. "Dunno, I mean, me and Holly are nocturnal naturally and we take pills to fix that but I don't see any pills. So we'll be up all night."

[Blaiiine]

"Oh, huh." Tyler replied, yawning loudly. He stretched his arms and sighed, taking another drink.

Holly picked at the cut, forcing her nails into the soft flesh. Kai pulled Holly's hands apart and sighed.

[Blaiiine]

"Here, take this." Tyler said, handing Holly the almost half full bottle. He laid back out on the couch, resting his head on his arm.

"Thanks?" She poured a little on the cut, which was now bleeding a lot. She then took a swig of the stuff. She winced slightly and drank a little more. Kai sat with her eyes closed, Holly trying to avoid forcing herself to bleed more,

Tyler soon began quietly snoring, having passed out moments ago. His tail swished and twitched around.

Kai sat there, waiting for the moment when all was quiet. Holly slowly finished the bottle and faded from consciousness. Kai smiled softly, her gaze occasionally resting on Tyler's face. Then she heard a crash from outside. She was up in an instant, holding both knives open and ready

Had opened up a snack cake and was nibbling on it, thinking about his overall predicament until he heard a crash upstairs and a yell.


"¿Que?" [What?] Victor said through a mouthful of the treat, glancing over curiously and putting down the other half of his snack cake. Within a few seconds, Victor poked his head in the stair well and called up;


"Everything alright?"


He wasn't really keen on walking into the bears room and interrupting... whatever he was currently doing. Victor actually enjoyed having a head.

Blaine appeared at the top of the stairs, yawning and hair messy. "Yeah, I couldn't sleep. It's all good up here," He replied, yawning again.


Tyler snorted but quickly passed back out. He was a heavy sleeper, having lived near the main highway back in Los Angeles.

An infected cougar and a wolf stumbled through the patio doors, stopped and both their heads snapped up to stare at Kai. She held her breath, slowly moving into a position for a move to kill them both. For once she could actually see the lifeless eyes. The rage and hunger in them. She wished Holly was awake but she had drank herself to sleep. She wouldn't wake up soon. Suddenly both infected ran at her, she ran to the side, kicking the legs out from under one, then round-house kicking the other one in the chin, dislocating it with a satisfying pop!. She then stabbed it in the neck, leaving it to die she walked to the other, stabbing it in the heart. "Sleep well in Heaven..." She smiled sadly, yet the second infected had not died and was stumbling towards Kai silently.

Meanwhile, Alan slept like a log - a log that was being sent through the saw mill over and over again. It would take more than a spilled vase or a couple misplaced Rabids to wake the snoring croc.

The second infected barely got it's paw on Kai's arm before Holly barreled into it, pulling her knife from it's neck and gutting the thing. Her face, speckled in blood was a grimace. It showed of humanity. But then it turned into hate and crazed violence. "You okay sis?" She asked as she put her foot on the thing's skull and leaned. Kai nodded, eyes wide as Holly cracked the infected's skull grinning. "Why didn't you wake me? This looks like it was fun"

Tyler woke up to the skull cracking and jumped up. "Ah hell.." He mumbled, gun in hand. Crouching down, he looked over to Kai. "You okay? I should've woke up.." Tyler said, rolling the nearby infected away with his foot.

"Nah, It's fine." Kai waved it off before thanking Holly. "If it wasn't for you sis.. probably would have been bitten or something..."

Tyler stood up, quietly going out to the patio doors. He lit a cigarette and went outside, which was almost pitch black and almost silent. He shut the doors behind himself and checked his gun before stepping off the porch and into the darkness.
