** Rest Area, San Gabriel Mountains **
"Well there goes identifying that guy." Blaine said, crouching down at another body and waving his light over it. "Bullet wounds, lots of them. I'd say military, maybe? No they'd be in the city...could be raiders." He said, beginning to pat and check the body for any useful.
** Ranger Station Irene, San Gabriel Mountains **
They soon reached the ranger station, an SUV parked out front. The driver's door was hanging wide open, blood smeared across the window. A body, presumably a park ranger, laid nearby.
Tyler sped his pace up and ran up to the body. He kneeled down and checked the ranger. The body was covered in bites, indicating he was at one point overrun by walkers. But the most disturbing thing was a bullet wound to the head, and it was fresh.
"Keep your guard up. This guy turned," Tyler said to the others. "And someone put him down recently." He finished, standing up and shouldering his rifle. Walking to the station entrance, he stepped up the stairs to the porch. The door was unlocked, conveniently, and Tyler held it open for the two.
