"Yes... Among other things..." She sighed holding Tyler's hand, "Including your brother, and Alan..."

[Blaiiine]

"Blaine...is a whole other story." Tyler quietly replied, looking into one of the nearby rooms. "But it'll get better..." He added, nuzzling her cheek again.

Kai sighed, "God I hope so," she said, smiling slightly. Tyler was becoming the best thing in this damn world. Holly played with her knife, contemplating best killing techniques.

[Blaiiine]

"Well, as much as I love being here," Tyler whispered, "I gotta get out of this shirt. See you downstairs," He smiled, and sauntered off to the living room to find his bag.

Holly occasionally glanced at him as he cleaned her knife with her shirt. It was surprisingly not that dirty, just splattered with blood in a few places.

Blaine was fast asleep, curled up like a child in the bundle of blankets. His snoring had subsided, instead he was almost silent apart from the occasional jumbled sentence he'd blurt.


Tyler stood in the kitchen, watching the two as he changed into a plain black t-shirt. Walking back to the stairwell, he stopped behind Holly.


"I'm not gonna hurt her, Holly." He said quietly, "And if something does happen....I'll gladly let you end me."


And with that, he ascended back up the stairs to find Kai.

Kai had wandered into the first room, and was digging through the mess, looking for anything useful. There was probably nothing but she needed something to do, she was restless and didn't want to stop doing something long enough to start thinking of what had happened. What was happening. Holly nodded even though Tyler was gone.Maybe she had underestimated her sister's choice in men. She was beginning to think she had good taste. Or maybe just Tyler was the only good person left besides her. Even so, she agreed with her choice of Tyler over Blaine.

Tyler stopped at the first room, quietly watching Kai search through the mess. Picking up a book, he tossed it to the floor with a small thump.


"You busy?" He asked, resting against the door frame and wearing a small smile.

"Not exactly," She said looking up at him with a weak smile.

[Blaiiine]

Tyler quietly nodded in return, walking over and crouching down to help look for anything useful.


After a few silent moments, Tyler looked up and rested his paw on hers.


"You don't have to bottle it all up, Kai..." He said in a hushed tone, his face showing pure concern. It killed him watching her break down like she was, feeling like he couldn't help.

"I..." She shrugged, grasping for words. "That's not me Tyler..." That was the one thing she couldn't bear to carry on her mind. Being a burden to anybody else, putting her problems or ideas into other's heads. "Typical me, huh?" She said in a slightly humorous tone, laced with sadness.

[Blaiiine]

"I know it isn't, but you gotta just.." Tyler said again, his tone serious. "..Just let me help you."


He kept a hold of her paw, rubbing the top of it with his thumb. He kept his other paw under his chin, trying to not clench it up.

She sighed, "Alright, I'll try Tyler. But don't go aro-" She stopped abruptly as her other paw brushed against something. She looked at an abandoned jacket next to her and reached into it;s pocket, pulling out a lighter. She smiled, "Look what we have here," She examined it, it was barely half full. But it was still a lighter.

[Blaiiine]

Tyler used it to light one of the spare cigarettes he had on him, handing it back right after.


"I'd say that'll come in handy," He replied before sitting down on the floor next to Kai.

She laughed, "It probably will," She sat as well, "Wonder where we should go next, or if we should start to hole done and occasionally go for a supply grab..."
