[Blaiiine]

"Get used to it. He's never been known to take good care of himself." Blaine said, setting the bottle down and leaning forward. He rubbed his temples before looking back up.


"He'll always push himself to the limit for the right reason," He continued, "Which I'd say is you right now. It's admirable but...extremely suicidal. Just don't let him push that far."


As if on cue, Tyler sputtered for a moment before waking up. Rubbing his eyes, he looked over and waved at his brother. Blaine reciprocated the wave with a peace sign and smile.

Kai nearly laughed, "Speak of the devil, he's awake!" Holly came down sighing. Upon seeing the scene she took a chair herself, "So, we still gonna hunker down here?" She asked. Kai shrugged,

"You think I'm gonna give up to that Farrow idiot? Hell no!" Blaine replied, taking a bitter swig of his drink.


Tyler ignored the conversation, instead choosing to nuzzle up to Kai and try falling back asleep. Brushing his hair out of his eyes, he found sleep to be hard to achieve. His chest was still sore, throbbing every few minutes.

She slipped her arm around his waist sat quietly. Holly laughed, "Hopefully we can figure out where this rat's nest is."

"Well when we do find him..." Blaine paused, grabbing his barbed wire bat and held it in his hands tightly. "He's going to have one hell of a headache." He finished, his eyes internally burning white hot.


Tyler went back to watching the movie, looking up at Kai for only a moment. "I wonder if Bruce Willis made it. Die Hard was a great movie so I hope he did." He said, laughing a little before the pain cut him off.


"Oh wait! This part!" Blaine yelled, pointing at the flat screen. The character, obviously the main, was running around in a firefight with German canines. "That's why I always keep my shoes with me." He jokingly said, pointing the main character running on broken glass with bare paws.

Holly snorted, "Ah, so thaaaat's why they are wet in the mornings." She said jokingly. Kai nearly laughed, but she just hugged Tyler closer.

Tyler winced from the tight hug, but quickly smiled in reciprocation. He felt safer then in that moment than he had even before the outbreak.


"You know it, Hans. Yippee ki-yay and all that," Blaine replied, laughing along with Holly. Finishing his drink, he tossed the bottle into the nearby wastebasket.


Looking back over at Kai and Tyler, he snickered slightly. "See, Holly, they're sooo cute. When are we gonna be like them?" Blaine jokingly asked, still laughing.


Tyler replied not in words, but in a classic middle finger.

Holly snorted once more, "You? And me? If that ever happens then we'll be nothing like them. Two phycos does not make one lovey-dovey couple." She said with a laugh. Kai also, replied with a classic middle finger. Something under normal circumstances she would never do. But this was not anywhere near normal.

"Speaking of two psychos, I think I should introduce you to our new guest." Blaine said to Holly, pulling his boots and gloves back on. Finishing the ladder laces on his boots, he grabbed the bat and sauntered off to the back door.


Tyler sat back up, stretching his good arm and yawning. A few pops of tired bones and a visit to the fridge later, Tyler was back on the couch intently focused on the movie.


"Y'know, my dad took me to see this as a kid. Totally cool for a toddler, am I right? But it was fun. Probably the only memory I have of him though...apart from him leaving." He said, breaking the silence. He nervously shifted his shirt, trying to not show any emotion after divulging such personal information.

"Are you okay with watching this?" Kai asked, Holly stood to follow Blaine.

[Blaiiine]

"Yeah..." Tyler replied, scooting over to nuzzle her cheek. He still had to hold back any tear that dared try and streak down his face.


Blaine gestured to the garage door before opening it for Holly. "Ladies first~" He jokingly said, doing an exaggerated bow. Sitting in the middle of the room was the captive, bloodied and passed out. He was tied up to a folding steel chair, his feet anchored in place with bricks.

Holly stepped in, holding her hands behind her back. She looked at the captive down her nose, even though she wasn't much taller than Kai. Just an inch or two. "Why the chair?"

[Blaiiine]

"I'm a psychopath, not rude." Blaine retorted, resting his bat on his shoulder.


"So after getting to our friend here, real nice guy by the way. Oddly loves knitting." Blaine rambled on, walking around the sleeping raider. "He let me know a bit about this Farrow guy, well before taking a nap. Speaking of which," Blaine finished before kicking the underside of the steel chair.


The raider awoke with a squeal, almost lifting the seat. Still shaking, he looked at them both before sighing.


"So..do you want to stay here? Like this house." Tyler asked, looking over at Kai.

She looked at Blaine. "Really, I think you're more of a sociopath.." She shrugged, "Also, nothing wrong with knitting." Holly said, with just a slight smile. "Anyways, we won't hurt you, unless you try to escape or harm us. Then, you're getting it."


Kai thought for a moment. "We have to stay in a single place eventually. How else are we to rai-" She suddenly stopped, aware of what she was about to say.

Tyler's eyebrows raised slightly, along with his ears, at the last part of what she said. "How else are we to what?" He asked, turning to face her. The TV was the only light on, casting them in moments of darkness and light.


The captive kept his silence for a moment before looking back up. "I already told him all I'm going to say. My leader is Farrow. And he's going to gut all of you." He growled, showing a few missing teeth. Clearly Blaine's handy work.
