"Gotcha..so I say we stay low and quiet at least until we're close enough to the city hall." Blaine replied, finishing his cigarette off and pulling the bandana up over his short muzzle.
Abandoned cars began popping up along the road, most unusable or burnt out.
Looks like Farrow made sure nobody could scavenge here, the bear thought to himself. Smaller lights began becoming visible the closer they came, some on the road and others on the rooftops.
"Let's cut through the woods for cover.." Blaine said, gesturing to the tree line at his left.

Tyler returned with two bowls and silverware, setting both on the table along with another bottle he got from the fridge. Sitting back down, he noticed her blank stare and stifled a laugh.
Kissing her cheek, he pulled back and patted her leg. "Hey, dinner's done. Let's eat," Tyler said, with a familiar smile that turned into a smirk.
Picking up his bowl, he dug in with a lack of class. He had always eaten like every meal was his last, as his parents were always poor growing up.
