Coalition Operations I: From the Ashes (RP. Apply in the Sign-Up thread.)

The Steel Avenger dropped out of Slipspace in a clearing in the midst of the nebula, and Trask immediately nodded to the tactical officer, who would then launch the drones, which became several Imperial Star Destroyers and Victory-II Cruisers. Trask looked to those not going to the station, and indicated several vacant consoles now appearing around the bridge. "Man your stations, but do not launch the raid until I give the order," he told them.

Once the drones were deployed, the Steel Avenger immediately cloaked, and began heading out of the nebula. Trask opened a line to the transporter room Tic and the others would be in. "Boarding Team - stand by to beam in." Eventually, the nebula cleared, and several corporate patrol ships - retrofitted Javelis Frigates and Skarovas Cruisers  and the occasional Marza Capital Ship- patrolling the region. The Steel Avenger sailed past them quietly, and eventually would settle in a spot just beneath the station.

Trask spoke one more time to the boarding party: "Bridge to Transporter Room; we're ready to beam you in."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray was taken aback by Tic's speech. Completely baffled, Ray's beliefs were now clashing.
He whispered quietly to himself as he stared at the floor. "W-What...T-The machine god s-said...acceptance? N-No, I cannot. B-But the Convergent. Her word is law. Y-Yet, s-so is the machine god." He leaned against his staff, bracing himself. Sparks flew from the mechanical side of the raccoon's head. Ray processed Trask's order, and nodded. "I-I am ready."


Jayce, watching Ray from the security feed, materialized beside Trask, panicked and angry. "What did she say to him?"

[Rylou]

Rylou stood clear and rolled his neck and cracked his knuckles.
"I'm ready to go, but can someone bring Reyela to the bridge? An extra drone pilot could help."

[Lacar Lacrest]

Lacar steped closer to ray incase he fell but also to confirm tics words."she is right, its like i said before it doesn't matter......machine or not we are all living and we will all die its the things we do between those points that count." Lacar smiles happy that tic had told him these things hoping it will help ray one day understand.

[AJ Fawxe]

The doctor stirred from his reverie as they dropped out of slipspace. The display on his facemask flickered before settling on a look of impatience. "Blast it all can we get on with this? I know right now I'm on your payroll for what amounts to sitting on my hind end and all, but that doesn't mean I'm necessarily thrilled to be doing it."


The mustelid familiarized himself with the console and verified what all the controls were before preparing himself for the attack.

[Rylou]

Rylou heard the Doctor talking just as he slipped his helmet on.
"And you're the one being nervous Doc? I'd say that's either bloodlust or you care for the ones going in. You don't seem caring though, so remind me not to get on your bad side."

[Tina]

Tic watched Ray suddenly start to spark and fritz out and looks to Lacar with a clearly worried expression in her pixel eyes.
"I uh...I think it's best we go." Tic says and while her calculated chances of this mission going smoothly were high, she couldn't help but fear that her speech may have broken Ray...which would not be good in a high stress situation. For now she would just have to hope Ray can hold himself together long enough for the mission to be over and heads down to the teleporter room, making sure she is ready to be beamed. 


Reyela nodded at Rylou as he leaves. "Can fly, no worry." She get's up to get herself ready but not before making sure her sentinel was in a safe place. She hid the parts in several places in the room, taking mental note of the location of each one. Hearing that someone would come get her, she waits expectantly till someone arrives.

[Alessia Starfurr]

Monitoring comm channels as well as manning  the drone Krystal sat down at one of the consoles awaiting the order to engage.

[Rylou]

Rylou listened to the comm channels for another moment.
"Is anyone going to get Reyela? Wait a minute, I got it."
Rylou picked a holotablet off his bunk and quickly drew a map before handing it to Reyela.
"Follow the path, then press the button on the side to lock it. Don't tap anything that pops up."
He then spoke into the radio; "Security, if you happen aboard Reyela, the uh, the stowaway, make sure she is on the way to the bridge."

[Lacar Lacrest]

Lacar took his place at one of the drone control stations ready to go as soon as ordered speaking over the comms."this is Lacar, ready to fly." he grinned excitedly happy to see some action.

[Romulan_Furry]

"Stand by..." Came the response from Trask. Moments later, the boarding party would feel a tingling sensation as they were beamed over to the Tondam facility. The cargo bay was dark, poorly-lit, but the doorway was clearly in sight beyond a maze of durasteel crates and boxes. "Trask to team - you'll want to stay out of sight. Wait for the raid to commence before you infiltrate the facility's systems. Tic, status report - can you get a map of the facility?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray checked his bolter rifle, slung it again across his back, and looked to Tic. The sparking had slowed considerably, but the occasional spark snuck its way out.

[Rylou]

Rylou tapped his wrist pad and turned on his tactical vision (a combination of night vision, infrared vision and heat vision), then screwed a silencer to his shotgun.
"Ready to move on your mark." he whispered into the Comms, then looked at the team with him. "I'll take point, Ray, stay in the rear. If either of you see anything, warn the rest of us before you fire on them."

[Tina]

Tic turns on her coms as she scans the room for a terminal or access port.
"In order to get a map of this facility I need to gain access into the security system. From there I can get a basic layout and have complete control over the cameras, helping us move undetected." Tic says and stays close to Ray and Rylou. Tic was not defenseless and did have combat measures to help in a fire fight, however she understood that it was better for her to stay safe and out of the way.

Reyela had nodded to Rylou before he left and after a bit of wondering found herself in the drone control room.
Finding an empty station it didn't take long for her to observe the machine and get it up and running, ready for combat.
"Reyela ready." She said on her coms.

They entrusted you with there drone arsenal...they may be no threat but you know what must be done. We must show no mercy to those who challenge us.

Reyela gulped as she heard the voice again, hoping that she could keep it held down. She didn't even notice the red shimmer coming off her body...as she herself felt a thirst for bloodshed.

The mustelid shifted his shoulders, relaxing in his seat. Tapping his comm, the doctor responded to the comment from Rylou calmly.


"Don't worry about being on my bad side. I was hired to keep you all alive. Under optimal conditions I can save you from everything up to and including beheading. However.." The doctor's facemask shifted to a flicker of a smile before resting on a calm expression. "Sometimes things don't work out. Just make sure you don't put yourself in a bad situation."


Each word was careful and measured. It was clearly a warning, but the intent was quite purposefully left vague.
