"Trask, is there anything specific i should be watching the scanners for?" Krystal and Serena asked simulantously
"Yes - any reinforcements or ships that might disrupt our operation," Trask responded.
The doctor looked at the heavily augmented raccoon and sighed deeply seeing him volunteer with another burst of religious mumbo jumbo. 'Great, this fool is going to get his crazy on again. Perhaps something blunt will hit him upside the head and knock the crazy loose.' The doctor's facial display flickered to a sly smile before shifting to an impassive expression.
"I don't guarantee I'll be too good with this drone piloting deal, but whatever. I suppose I don't need to be impressive, just distracting..."
"That's what we're going for - a distraction, a diversion, something to keep Tondam's attention on us and not our infiltrator team," Trask affirmed. He brought up a map of the intended AO. Highlighting an area just inside a Mutara Nebula, he continued, "Here's the game plan - We'll drop out of slipspace here - the eye of the Jarrok Mutara Nebula. This is where we'll drop our Marauder Drones, and they'll take form while we move under cloak for the facility. I recommend those of us that can familiarize ourselves with standard Imperial Vessels from Zaarin's Empire - that's who our drones will be masquerading as..." he highlighted a narrow corridor of the surrounding nebula that exited directly in front of the Tondam Facility. "... Once the drones are dropped, we'll follow this corridor under cloak and approach the facility. Assuming all goes well, we'll get within transporter range of the facility," He looked to Tic, Rylou and Ray. "I know some of us aren't comfortable with the transporters, but it's the stealthiest way to insert you - and get you out - without risking detection too much. Once you're inside, find the database and Tic will access it and find what we're looking for. Once that's done, find a secluded spot and signal to beam out." He looked to the others. "The rest of us will stage an Imperial assault on Tondam's facility here. We need to cause damage, but the idea is to make sure they're so focused on the Imperial ships that they don't notice intruders. Once Tic, Ray and Rylou have the data we need, we'll feign an Imperial Retreat and follow them here..." he highlighted an area beyond the nebula surrounded by loose asteroids. "... it's here we'll collect our drones again and high-tail it to safety, where we can review the data and, perhaps, have a better idea of what we're dealing with. Any questions?"
