Ray spoke matter-of-factly and distanced.


 “Failure of the prefrontal cortex, due to electrical discharge. Followed by a gradual failure of the cortex, front to back. A severe electrical discharge scored the left atrium and ventricle, forcing cardiac arrest. The pulmonary system failed slowly, and shut down completely as the conference room door opened. I’m sorry if my death rattle interrupted anything.”

"Given what you just said, are you certain you can still operate in this op?" Trask asked. "And how much of the conversation that took place here did you hear?"

"To answer your question, sir," Torrentus told Vosur, "I just want that device dealt with, one way or the other, so we can nail Arai and I can go back to my affairs without worrying about some clone of me running around trying to back-stab me. Just find a way to eliminate that device, and Arai won't know we're coming till we're right on top of her, our boot to her throat."

"I could have Serena give you a scan, Ray   She might be able to find something..." Krystal noted

[Vosur Aekira]

Vosur loaded the decoy into a torpedo and fired it out of a rear-facing cannon on the ship, waiting a few seconds before giving a call to Trask. "The package is away. If I aimed it right, it'll catch the gravity of a mining-planet in a day. I'll stay in the engine-room and begin the checks so we'll be ready to go when you're done talking." he spoke before closing the comm and starting up the built-in-tests for the engines.

It would seem like hours before the alert klaxxons sounded. "All hands - battlestations," came Trask's voice. The team's communicators would receive a message from Trask, asking them all to report to the bridge as the ship got underway. Torrentus had since returned to her ship, and was moving alongside the Steel Avenger, both of whom headed for the Kegan system.

Wilco receives the message and heads there straight away.

by the time Wilco got to the bridge Krystal was already in her position. "What's with the alarm?" she asked.

Vosur had grabbed up his weapons and ran as fast as he could to the bridge, entering in and awaiting the orders as his helmet came out of the chest-piece and locked around his head. "So what's going on? What're we up against?"

Ray had retreated into the bowels of the ship. He had hooked up vampire cables to the engine, siphoning a small amount of power to charge himself. Meanwhile, he ran several diagnostic scans of his organic parts. As the klaxon sounded, the roboraccoon made his way to the bridge, quickly tucking the cables away. As he hadn’t had more time, a rudimentary gyroscope was the only thing keeping Ray upright. As such, he could only walk in careful strides. Minutes would pass before Ray arrived.

"Cloaked scouts sent to the Kegan system report that Arai's forces are considerable, but less than what we'd have thought. Torrentus has forces en route to there, and I've got some friends heading in, as well. We are going to take Arai down and bring her to the ISC, assuming she lets herself be taken alive," Trask explained. He looked to Krystal. "Have you heard back from your husband?"

"not lately." Krystal replied

"Then we're gonna have to do this ourselves," Trask said. "Helm - plot a course for the Kegan System, prepare to engage the Translight Jump Drive."

"Aye sir!" the helmsman replied.

Trask turned to those present. "I need all hands on deck - volunteers to help me manage the situation in orbit, and some to head down planetside to take Arai, dead or alive."

"Alright, I'll make sure to keep my Plasma Cutter to a stun setting. I do have a bit of information for anyone that's going to be involved in the attempted-capture." he spoke as he starts changing the setting for the Cutter, then he starts playing the hologram-video of the security-footage of her attack. "First up, she cannot use more than one of the installed modules at a time. They must all tap into the same power-source rather than have separated power cells in normal modules. Second, Kinesis modules work with metallic objects or objects with very-high iron content, they also require line-of-sight and to be within a certain range. So if she attempts to reach out towards you, she may be attempting to grab or push you through using that module. Her saber must be magnetic since she can move it around using it. Lastly, her Stasis module can only be used in a certain radius around herself, she cannot launch a stasis-field like most models. The range on the stasis module is less than the kinesis module. So overall, the tactic in mind is to keep at range away from her, if you can. If you can't stun her, disable the limbs."

"Agreed," Trask said, before Nari walked onto the bridge.

"If Arai has any connection to the force i would be invaluable to the landing party." Nari a silver vixen replied as she came into the bridge.

"Arai doesn't have any real connection to the Force - just implants and devices that mimic such powers. Either way, you'd be a good asset to the team going down planetside," he told her.

"Course plotted and ready, Admiral," the helmsman announced.

"That just leaves who's coordinating with me in orbit," Trask said. He looked to Ray. "If I plug you into the ship, can I trust you to help me coordinate the fleet against Arai's forces?"
