A Couple Freebies and Trades [Closed]

I want to have a few examples to advertise for commissions with, so I'm giving away a few freebies to forum members. Here's what I want to do. Comment to claim a slot. First come, first served. Anyone's welcome to claim a trade, regardless of skill level.


2 Free Commissions: 1-2 characters, plain background, cell shading.


2 Trades: 1-2 characters, plain or simple background, comic book style shading.

Ok. How about the owl? I've never drawn an anthro owl before, so it'd be good practice.


Would it be too much to ask for you to make Iffy (the girl bunny) into one of your boxed critters?

Anything you can tell me about her? What does she like/hate? That sort of thing, something so I can perhaps make it more personal for you.

She's very sardonic and sarcastic, with a dry sense of humor that she uses to mask a very sensitive and caring heart. She likes to draw and write poetry, and has a couple close friends but keeps everyone else at arms length.


Tell me a bit about your owl character. Do you have any reference inages?

It should have most/all information on there to hopefully give an idea.
Uhm... other short bits of information to add... *thinks*
Kakusei (the owl character) has a rather quiet personality. Observes mostly, but if needed can step in and help. Does so especially with others close to them and can be rather protective of them (once again, only if needed and if it's justified, Kakusei wants to always try to get the facts straight and wants to make the least mistakes possible).
(As of which, the rest of the body is covered in short fur and feathers, even though I haven't drawn that or mentioned it on the ref.sheet. )

Just a quick update. I have the linework done, but I'm covering for two other people at work this week, so it's taking longer than I'd like. Hoping I'll be able to finish it over the weekend.
