"Oh, hey, um, I'm fine just standing up, thanks," Sailor laughed, pushing some hair that had fallen down into her face back over her shoulder.

And then it hit her. "Would you like me to play some music for you? It won't be as high quality as you're wearing a decent portion of me, but I can still play something if you have anything in mind."

Nikki glanced over her shoulder, one eyebrow raised. "...Uh... Do you know any Queen songs?" she asks, flicking her tail softly.




Cassy went into the back, washed her hands, and started to do some baking.


Tova swept the floor some more.


The odd wolf girl kept serving other nameless patrons.

Kat stepped into the cafe wearing a thick winter coat, accompanied by the soft jingle of the bell over the front door. The bob-tail lynx shook off a dusting of snow and glanced around at the bustling crowd of patrons in the cafe. It's always nice to come back and see the place doing well... she thought as she sheepishly looked around for a free table. "...Preferably a table next to a wall heater too." Kat said quietly to herself, rubbing her gloved paws together to warm them up after the cold weather outside.

The strange-looking wolfgirl padded over to Kat, running a hand through her short-cropped pink hair. "H...Hello," she said shyly. "W...Welcome to the cafe..." She flashed the lynx a big, toothy, sheepish grin. "May I help you?"

Nikki tapped her chin. "....Why not start off with 'We Will Rock You'?" she says, stopping for a moment and walking back to Karyn. "Also, if it would help, you could take some of your material back..." The cat offered Karyn her wrist. "You know... we could find a proper balance."

Kat's phone buzzed angrily and, with a sigh, the chunky lynx turned her attention to search for it. She barely even noticed the wolfgirl approaching until she had spoken up right next to her. "Oh!" Kat gave a small squeak of surprise and almost dropped the phone, her paws fumbling in her thick winter gloves. She looked up to the sight of the girl's toothy grin and a bright shock of pink hair, which only added to Kat's surprise. "Uhm, hi... Sorry, I didn't see you there..." Kat mumbled, she could feel her cheeks prickling warm with embarrassment, "I was just looking for a table..."

Kat's phone buzzed angrily and, with a sigh, the chunky lynx turned her attention to search for it. She barely even noticed the wolfgirl approaching until she had spoken up right next to her. "Oh!" Kat gave a small squeak of surprise and almost dropped the phone, her paws fumbling in her thick winter gloves. She looked up to the sight of the girl's toothy grin and a bright shock of pink hair, which only added to Kat's surprise. "Uhm, hi... Sorry, I didn't see you there..." Kat mumbled, she could feel her cheeks prickling warm with embarrassment, "I was just looking for a table..."

The wolf nodded, rubbing her neck as she looked at Kat, her cheeks turning nearly as pink as her hair. "Uh... it's... it's okay," she says, looking around before finally spying what looked like a suitable table. "Uh... follow me, miss." The wolf headed for a table that, conventiently enough, was right by the heaters.

"I'm perfectly capable of playing music as I am now. The more resources I have, the better and louder the music can be though. I guess a little bit couldn't hurt." She said as she gently placed a paw onto Karyn's wrist. Some of the materials did retract into her, leaving the body suit to cover as much as a T-shit and shorts combo. "As for the song, just give me a moment please..."

"Thank you!" Kat replied slightly quickly and sheepishly, acutely aware of the other girl's bashfulness over the situation as well, her long tufted ears turned down self-consciously. The lynx breathed a deep sigh of relief when the wolf turned to lead her over to a free table. She followed just behind the wolfgirl, forcing herself to try and strike up a more normal conversation. "Brrr... Glad to be inside actually... It's cold out there."

Nikki nodded, shivering a bit as she felt the materials retract, though this was more from the feeling than from the cold. "....Is there a way to get it to play for just us?" she said. "People seem to value their silence a bit around here...."


The wolfgirl glanced over her shoulder, swishing her long, pink-tufted tail. "Is it?" she replied, grabbing a menu off of a nearby table as they headed towards the chosen one. "I haven't been outside lately..." The wolfgirl smiled sheepishly as she continued onwards, her wide hips swaying elegantly from side to side as she walked. Clearly, whatever material would've gone into her chest went into her... um... lower half.

Karyn thought for a second. "Do you have any earphones on you? I can work those." She noticed Karyn get colder than then began to think of any more possible ideas, which involved keeping Nikki warm and entertained.

Nikki nodded, fumbling around in her pocket until she fished out a tangled pair of earphones. "Uh... sorry that they're like this," she says, untangling them as fast as she can. As she does so, she shivers a bit at the feeling of the chill on her wrists, even though the jacket covers the area.
