Wolf Wars

[Dr. Strange]

He looked troubled and struggled with the words. "You, ehh, teach me?" He pleaded. His fur bristled from thoughts he wished weren't there.

"I suppose I could try. Though it won't do me very much good. I don't know the wolven language. I escaped from.. a bad place. Being new here to the pack as well, I'm the Omega." Ayame said, lowering her head, trying to speak without using huge confusing words. She was ashamed at being the lowest in the pack, and she was silently surprised that the few here did not have a problem with it.. But then again, there was only one awake and communicating with her. She looked to him with slight interest, her eyes bright with curiousity as she took in the cold air, "What's your name? I've told you mine, but I didn't catch yours."

[Dr. Strange]

"I am Soran. Sorry that I bad speak-er. My human is, er, ..." He thought for a second, a pained expression on his face: "weak. I can speak well, just my, eh, accent is hard to hear?" He shook his head,   "No, hard to un-d-er-stand?" He looked back at her curiously. "You escape from lab? That kind of bad place?"

Ayame nodded, her ears flattening to her head. "It's fine. You might have a little difficulty, but I think you can get past it. Why you'd want to know it, however is beyond me.. If I could forget everything and be a fully feral wolf like some of the others in the pack I would."

[Dr. Strange]

"Fully feral? You means like me?" He chuckled, finding this amusing. "I would like to be opposite."

"Well, when I mean fully feral, I mean unable to speak human or think like a human in any way. I wish things were simple, and I could be a wolf, just trying to survive. Nothing more. I may appear as a feral wolf, but I am by no means a true wolf." She looked around, crossed her forepaws and placed her head on top of them. "I'd look just like any other white wolf if I didn't have these damn red markings... my origin, or this collar." She looked back to him, sighing and somewhat scolding herself for telling so much about herself. "Why would you want to become like them?"

[Dr. Strange]

"You are unique, no? Special?" He glanced at Grey and leaned closer to her, whispering: "I hope you know I, eh, am not as wolfish as I look..I am part human but my, ehm... Humanspeak is rusty. I am remembering? much now but I lose when I sleep. You sleep now, I guard." He watched the moon rise, kneading the snow softly.

"I wouldn't consider myself special. They made me to communicate with humans, raised me like one of them. I'm pretty much a human mind in a wolf body." She sighed and looked back to him. "How are you part human?" She ignored his offer of sleep, she wasn't tired... Her mind was reeling with thoughts that seemed to ricochet around in her skull as she focused on this conversation.

[Dr. Strange]

"I am blood wolf but I speak human. You see? I am still part human of I speak. You no tired?" The moon was an odd yellow-orange this evening. "The moon, she say she miss her babes. She wish we come see her more..." He murmured, growl-purring quietly. " I am sleepy but I no sleep.... I can no. My, eh, brain ish moving fast. Like wind in Sand Funnel."

"Mine too." She closed her eyes and howled, trying to connect to nature. She couldn't feel such a connection, so she lowered her head in defeat. "Unfortunatley I suffer from insomnia a lot."

[OneGrayWolf]

Gray turned around with his belly facing up, still asleep. Pawing at the night sky, he whispered, "Mamma... Babbo... Non mi lasciare, per favore. Ho bisogno di te..."

[Dr. Strange]

He looked at the snow and began to draw in it with his claws. A face began appearing but many places were missing things. He bit his bottom lip and scratched in the snow more, creating a body, clothes, shoes, and finished the face. He pointed to it proudly. "My human."

Ayame padded over and looked at the picture. "I had a human once.. But he was killed." She sat down. "I can't draw a picture of him. But I can describe him. His name was Adrastus. He was the closest thing to a dad that I could have had. He raised me, and got attached to me... And when the other scientists wanted to experiment on me to "improve" me, he wouldn't allow it. So the others killed him in order to get legal custody over me. They claimed I was property of the government in the first place."

[Dr. Strange]

His eyes watered and he wiped them away, clawing another picture in the snow. This was a wolf similar to 113 but more feral and smaller. "My mate." He pointed again. "She killed in fight for life. Evil Twolegs take her away. They use her for experiments. She die on her way to me. I cry for week."

Ayame nodded. "They're cruel, most of them." She lied back down across from Soran. "There are a few good humans, but because there are so few, I prefer to stay away from them all."
(Ayame is a feral wolf in this one. Not anthropomorphic. )
