"Sure, sounds good!" Geoff chirped. He then turned to Light. "Oh hey, I'm Geoffrey. Just moved in." He hesitated for a second or two, recollecting where his place was.
"Heh, well, you guys have a good day."
He then shuffled off to his apartment.
Once inside, the bear quickly set down his bags and paced about in thought. It was the cheapest apartment they had; small, minor damage, and unfurnished aside from appliances. In truth, he had no job yet, but had enough money saved up to keep the place until he finds one. He wasn't too bothered about the emptiness. Once he was earning and saving, he'll have this place fixed up. His own little home, all to himself, free to do whatever he pleased. The reality of it dazed him. A little worm in his brain was squeaking disapproval, that he jumped in half-cocked and was biting off more than he could chew. He ignored it. No turning back now.
So, he had pizza to look forward to, if he could manage being awake then. Come to think of it, he hadn't eaten much the whole time he was setting all this up. Normally food was always on his mind, but he was so concerned with happenings he barely had an appetite. He certainly did now and could use today's spare time to stock his kitchen, but he was far too exhausted to go back out in public. He opted to pull his blanket from his backpack and curl up to sleep.
