Must be a pretty stressful situation you came from. I came here for education, and my family full well knows it. Even so, if I'm not mistaken, your family doesn't know what you're doing here. Food's done in a few mins, by the way."

Mary replied: "Science. What science, however, is still open. I moved in because Beastopian schools tend to accept residents easier than outsiders. Perhaps it has something to do with tax, but I'm not sure really."

so you like sience, i couldnt study that at where i came from, wasnt aloowed by my pare... any way is the food done yet

By way of answer the microwave started beeping. Mary didn't have to response and put the dish on his plate. She looked a bit doubtful as she said: "I hope you don't mind having only vegetables today? I bought it for myself, of course, so... yeah. But to your question: yes, I like science. But not all parts of it, of course. I'm most likely to do something in chemistry, however."

Mary said careful: "You come from a hunting tradition. So... Do you come from the north of the continent west of Ythreïman?"

Mary answered: "From a small village elsewhere on this island. I didn't have a possibility to grow there, so I came here- universities aplenty. You, on the other hand, could've gone anywhere. Why did you, out of all places, seek your refuge here?"

My parents hate big cities so figured I never see them here

Mary whistled. "Then you've picked the right city. Beastopia's the biggest on Gaia. They've got a lot of searching to do- should they start. Plus, hunting is illegal on Ythreïman, what doesn't make it appealing for them to come to the island in the first place." Mary took a bite and looked Lightstone straight in the eyes.
