The police took Lightstone along to the station and set him up against his parents. There, they explained the situation: "Madam, mister. It seems we hit a critical junction. As for you..." The officer glanced to Light. "I must say that your son, in fact, came here with a fake ID. This means that the provided information on it may all be false. Tell us, how old is 'Lightstone' actually and what is his real name?"


Mary saw Liightstone being taken away, and then noticed the fox couple. She asked: "Hey, did you hear all that?"

[lightstone]

"well his name is Light Stone" the father replied "age 16" the mother continued and grabbed a birth certificate with his birthday written on it

The officer peered over the paper. He clacked his tongue. "Well then... Lightstone, I want to know where you got that ID! Because according to that, you're 18. But if you're 16, you don't have the right to move around Ythreïman on your own. As a result, your parents had, in fact, all the right to come and take you. This means you have to go back with them... Unless, of course, your parents are willing to file a form that allows you to operate individually or with a volunteer foster family."

"no please don't let me go there!" then it hit Light, what if they see the living circumstances there "what if i show you what['s it like there, maybe i can find something that's not legal in a household ,will you let me go then?"

[Ara Av-Toa]

The police officer scratched his head. "Well, that is a point. We'll need a search warrant, though. Perhaps we have to bring this matter to court. I'll speak about it with the Commision of Law. Even then, we can't ignore you, Light, despite you're underage. But, you still haven't told me where you got your ID yet... There's NO WAY we can let that go unpunished."

[lightstone]

"well... There is this one guy in my old neighborhood who faked ID's, and that's no lie"

[Ara Av-Toa]

The officer stroked his chin. "A faker, huh? If you give us his address, we can get him to justice and we can seriously consider relieving your punishment. A win-win. For now... Hmm. We have no choice but turn this into a court case. We'll let you wait here for a few days until the case." He brought all three into cells before walking off to phone.

[lightstone]

"aaaanndd.... I'm in jail" lightstone said "in jail just to be free"

[Ara Av-Toa]

The officer informed the three: "I've contacted the court, your trial is in two days. Until then, we try to collect more evidence that will aid in the decision making."

Leo sat down in his room, with his phone up to his ear.

"Yes, sir... I have completed Law School.  Yes, sir, I can begin as soon as you need me to."

...

"Oh?  There's someone who has a case in just a couple of days, you said?"

...

"Hmm... would it be alright if I had a talk with this person before agreeing to defend him?"

...

"Yes, sir... then I'll be there as soon as I can.  Thank you."

...

"So, I'm already in the System?  That's great!  So when can I get my Attorney Badge from your office?"

...

"If I do well enough in this case?  I... well, I guess I can't argue with that."

...

"Alright, then... thanks again, sir!  And don't worry, I won't let you down, sir!"

Upon hanging up his phone, he relaxed on his couch and sighed, before smiling to himself.

"Alright, then... looks like I've got a job!  Now to get ready for my first official Court Case here!"

He looked into the mirror and grinned.  "My name is Leo Wintermane... and I will become the best Defense Attorney this city has to offer!"

...

His stomach began to grumble, causing him to deadpan at his reflection.

"... Riiiiiight after I grab a quick bite to eat..."

And with that, he left his room, back into the hallway, ready to search for any nearby restaurants that served, preferrably, seafood.

[Wilco Whiteheart]

*Wilco is waiting out the front for someone, looking impatient as he shuffles his bag about.* "They said they would be here soon..."


*Willa is resting against Wilco, snoring lightly, so she wasn't able to say anything.*


(This place does have a military, right? That would help explain why I said this)

Leo could not know he was summoned to defend Lightstone in the upcoming court trial. He'd be surprised, so much was clear.


(Ythreïman's army is mainly naval, air is strong but not as important, ground has least power and material)
A truck drove to Willa and Wilco. It bore Ythreïman's naval symbol. It stopped in front of the building, apparantely expecting someone.


Mary had trouble focussing on her study. Her mind kept wandering to Ray and Lightstone. She hoped they were OK.

Ray, who had fallen asleep, awoke to an eerie sight. The apartment had flipped upside down and the door, along with the furniture, had melted into some bizarre shape. Ray shook his head and attempted to navigate the apartment, clattering and clanking along the way. He reached the kitchen and tried to find his medicine, causing glassware to rain down around him. Eventually, despite the whole upside-down room, Ray was able to take his pill. He closed his eyes and waited for the room to return to normal.

[Wilco Whiteheart]

Wilco carries Willa and the bag over to the truck and knocked on the door, before opening it. "You guys took your time..."

[Ara Av-Toa]

The soldier responded: "There was a traffic jam on the road. Gave me several minutes delay... Either way, get in quickly. I lost too much time already."
