Initial dream: To make it into one of the big computer security firms in Beastopia as an Ethical Hacker.
Background summary: Alice was born in the city to two loving parents. She went to college for computer science, but since then has struggled keeping a job. The tech industry even here was never kind to females. Mostly she works for freelance; cleaning code, small time hacking (Nothing illegal mind you), and website building. She calls her family every other week to say hi, and lives a fairly average life.

As the soft wisps of her chai's steam wafted into the air, dancing across her nose, Alice had a feeling today was going to be a long day. She didn't have any proof, of course, but just that sixth sense in the back of her mind told her.
It was blissfully quiet around her in the little cafe off of the central plaza. Her tail swished along the smooth tiled floor, her eyes scanning a new piece of code one of her compatriots on her forum had sent her to debug. The soft light of the laptop screen played with her naturally lime green fur.
The code was okay, nothing too special, just a cracking formula for helping people get into accounts they had forgotten passwords to. Definitely not elegant by any means. She tapped a few notes into the lines, giving advice where she could.
Man... She wished she could get paid to do this. Looking outside at the plaza through the window she saw the streets start to get a little busy.
