and bike helmets... really? I remember crashing... I mean riding my bike in nothing but a pair of shorts...

I know right?  The only helmet you ever saw was someone wearing an older siblings motorbike helmet just for fun.


Having said that I still have a scar from a foolish bike accident.  Had been playing in mud and my hair was full of it.  It was pretty long and the feeling of it down my back was delightful so I was riding along with my head back not concentrating and crashed.  Got a crescent shaped mark from my handlebars on the tummy.


Now this is bit before my time, but when I started at my first job, a Government job, the stores room still had branded ash trays made to sit on staff's desks

OMG, yes... I never smoked (ok, maybe 2-3 cig's in my life), but yes smoking at work, on planes, in restaurants, etc..

Am I the only guy that can't really tell the difference?  Like there is Facebook.......and Twitter....which is like Facebook, but you can post less words or something......Then there is Instagram.  Which is like Facebook but for only pictures......even though you can post pictures on Facebook.  And then there are a ton more that randomly pop up.  haha

The annoying dial up internet
when at home had to be phone or internet, if family member wanted to use the phone I had to log out 
it took a few minutes and the annoying dial up sounds

Yes!  The dial up sounds.  When I was young I was obsessed with fake Mortal Kombat pictures for some reason and would go to the library and print them out.  The good old days.

The dialup sounds were annoying, and sometimes it would fail to log on, but every time it successfully connected, I felt like a hacker. lol

climbing trees?

Damn, I spent a lot of time in trees, but I'm proud to say my girlcub (now 13) still loves herself some tree time.  So maybe there is some hope for the future

Today I know with cell phones we can have hundreds of songs, past I had to buy lots of CDs (like Albie mention, just for 1 or 2 songs) I had to use Audio Cassettes to mix favorites into single place, couldn’t change order once recorded on it
