Can you read the full story?
« on: November 10, 2017, 09:39:29 AM »
Ahem. So, once upon a time there was a man named Bill, or was it William? Either way, it doesn't matter. Bill was a man who walked a lonely road down a dock in some unusual place, I think it was like in Ireland or something, definitely somewhere in Europe. Anyway, Bill was this guy walking this road when suddenly this fox with two tails shows up, yeah two tails! Not like the sonic character though, this fox wasn't yellow and couldn't spin his tails around like a helicopter blade, he was just a normal fox but he had two tails. Anyway, this fox he went up to the person, looked him straight in the eye and said some pretty mean things, he wasn't a nice fox, he said stuff like "Your life has no meaning" and what-not, I dunno why he said that, but he did and it would seem like the mans lonely road got lonelier. So the man was feeling kinda blue at this point, the fox noticed this and realized the man needed a bit of a pick me up. So the fox told the man of a squirrel who lived on a street called Cloverfield lane, again this is why I think it's in Ireland or some England province, cause like cloverfield is such an English street name. Anyway, so the fox said the squirrel would be there near the mailbox of apartment 52, and that the squirrel was a lot more optimistic than the fox so he might make the man happier. So the man decides he'll go to this street to meet the squirrel, so he walks all the way over to 52 cloverfield lane. Well, wouldn't you know it, next to the mailbox on 52 cloverfield lane was a squirrel and the squirrel was holding a stack of letters, the squirrel then told Bill that he should open the letters to see what is inside. Now, and this story is totally true by the way, I don't make things up, one of the letters that the squirrel handed Bill had the words "Future" on it and the squirrel told bill that this letter could tell the future. Bill was a bit skeptical at first but decided that he did really want to know his future so he opened the letter and in it came with some inspiring words. "Your future will lead to greatness, it is only up from here!". Inspiring words right? But the squirrel didn't look happy at that response, he cautioned the man that the future letter always talks in riddles and never means what it says it means. Bill was a bit confused, I mean wasn't this squirrel meant to be optimistic? Why can't the story be happy and end here, well because the story has to have a moral, so let us continue. So the squirrel said that the man should seek out the slippery snake in the bog outside the city he was in, he said the slippery snake would be able to tell him what the riddle meant. But Bill wasn't sure, would you want to know the future? Bill was not sure if he wanted to seek out the slippery snake, but the squirrel, finally showing his optimistic side, told the man that the slippery snake would probably tell him something good and let the man be happy once more. Well Bill decided he would go seek out the slippery snake and uncover the secret of the future letters riddle. So as he walked towards the Bog, getting through all the branches and stuff, cutting open all the leaves and vines, he realized very quickly that he got lost in the bog. The bog was all around him, green everywhere and he did not know where he was or how to get out of the bog, but suddenly he heard a noise, a faint noise that was like a slither and he realized this slithering noise must have been the slippery snake. He decided to follow the noise, aimlessly traveling towards the slithering sound until finally he uncovered the sounds source. Indeed there he was, a giant snake that towered over the trees and eclipsed the sun. The snake did not speak or utter a word, instead the snake showed its fangs and quickly struck the man in the leg, poisoning the man. The man lay down on the soil, wondering what had happened and why his day had gone the way it had before. He realized how fantastic and great the slippery snake was, how it moved the world with every slither, he realized this must have been the greatness that the letter told him he was destined for. The man knew he was dying, but smiled, because the second part of the letter said it is only up from here, up, what could that mean to a dying man? He deduced he was going to go to heaven and that this conclusion to his life would be the final end of his lonely road. And so the man gently passed away, under the gaze of the slippery snake with a two tailed fox and a letter holding squirrel by its side. What truly caused the mans demise? Was it the folly of man to seek his future that caused the mans demise? Was it the man rejecting the stimulating conversation of the two-tailed fox? Or was it the fact that the man ran up to a massive snake and expected the snake to talk to him? The moral of the story we will never know, now the story is almost over but I do have a final request for you. There is actually a secret word hidden within this text, if you post the secret word you'll get a million internet points from me. To find out what the secret word is read all the words colored in red, that will tell you what the secret word is. Anyway, good luck, have fun and have many great days!
