The Carnaval RP (Open)

The human frowns and looks away, towards the front entrance, somewhat lost in thought.

"Not gonna lie... after seeing what some of the others did to you guys, I don't believe you should have reason to trust me."  He then looks back at them, and passes shock collars to them.

"I can't really explain much right now, but... those collars were modified to only use one watt of electricity... a small jolt, barely even noticeable.  They are hard-coded to only work with my own shocker... You guys are good at acting, right?"  He pulls a small device from his pocket, and shows it to them... a small handle with a red trigger.

"If someone asks me to shock you, I'll have to do it... which is why I modified the collars to not be painful.  I'll need you all to pretend it's hurting you, though, so that they don't suspect anything.  And if anyone asks, it's a bathroom break.  This is the right time for that, after all, since everyone's on break."

He then folds his goggles back down and begins walking towards the entrance, drawing his rifle and holding it passively, barrel pointed towards the ground, and finger off the trigger.

"It's your choice, though... and hopefully a human saying that should be enough incentive to let you know I'm on your side... I want to help, but there's only so much I can explain at this time.  If you trust me, I'd suggest putting those collars on, and sticking close to me.  I'll explain more once we reach the sewers... if you decide to follow.  If not, then just toss the collars out... and hope for the best."

He stops and turns to face them once more.

"I can promise you all is this, though... something big is about to happen... and it'd be safest if you weren't caught in the cross-fire."

With that, he assumes his position at the entrance to the room.  Looking around, he sees that nobody's patrolling the general area at this time.

"If the scouts are right, we should have about 5 more minutes before break time's over.  After that point, they'll have me moving over to another spot... if they decide to follow me, though, we'll have to act fast.  Hope Oculus there's still waiting on the other side." he thinks to himself.

"come on guys we've got nothing to loose"light looked towards the human took a collar and put it on

With a sigh and a wary glance, shadow grabbed a collar and put it around his neck, hearing the click as it clipped on. Subconsciously rubbing his neck he looked up trying to avoid glancing at the collar. Only for a little while.  He thought to himself. Just a little bit till you can take this collar off forever.

She nodded, putting the collar on. She could act. This would hopefully go well. Keahi was surprised to see that someone was actually on their side. She hoped that they weren't wrong about the guard. He could be acting too. She paused. "Something big. . . . .?" The hyena-skunk questioned. Definitely worth knowing.

"Which way?" whispered Shadow, trying to keep is voice low, as he looked up at the human.

The human motions for them to follow him close by.

"Soon as we get to the hallway that leads to the bathrooms, we'll take the back exit.  Anyone asks, all the stalls were occupied, so I'm taking you all out back to use it, while keeping close tabs on you... thus, the shock collars.  If they ask for me to test it, I'll try to avoid the situation... but if they ask me to, regardless, then I'll have no option.  Again, though, it shouldn't be an issue.  After all, I did mod the collars to only do a bit less than one watt, so you'd barely even feel it.  Also programmed it to spray a quick-drying solution to make it look like the area underneath it's burnt, and a bit of powder to seem like some of your flesh is getting burnt off... basically, you'll have to pretend you're getting the hell shocked out of you, while only feeling a small tingle."

Shadow gave a stiff nod and walked behind him trying to keep up. Shadow walked in silence for a moment before looking up,  he said a quiet "Thankyou." with a small smile.

OOC: Sure! You can have multiple characters as long as it doesn't get to confusing!   And as a quick recap : The story takes place at the Harper Circus where a group of performing animals are desperately trying to escape their cruel and unforgiving  Ring Master.  Meting a newcomer to the circus Light the fox who is trying to get home to his family, they devise a plan to escape but are caught by the ringmaster and locked in cages. With some help they are able to escape again and are planing when they are caught by a guard. Luckily for them the guard is kind and does not approve of the Ring Master harsh treatment of the animals, so he decides to help them escape. And that is basically where we've left off. Hope this helped!:)

-Tom looked about, seeing (Whatever Justin's character name is) and walks over, bringing out his baton, cautious as to what he's doing-

~Will is in the sewers, looking up through a open porthole. He hears laughing, and curious, decides to climb through, chucking his pistol up there first~

Keahi followed now quietly. Very elaborate collar changes. She was impressed. It seemed they wouldn't have too much trouble with all of that. She kept her expression straight, not allowing any hope into her ember colored eyes. Her long tail swished behind her. As long as it wasn't a guard that had seen them, they'd be ok.

Light stone did the exact same thing tagging along slowly things start to get in his mind "what if the collars aren't rigged, what if he wants to put us back in a cage, what if he brings us to the stalls an then there someone waiting there" he couldn't get rid of the collar any more and started panicking

*Wilco hangs around Light and gently pets him* It'll be ok... *He says, sensing the foxes fear*

-Tom hangs in the shadows, ready to step out in Leo's path and be ready to help him-


~Will climbs through and getting to his feet, stumbles to a door and opens it, falling through. He gets up and sees a human guard hiding in shadows and a human leading a pack of (furries? Circus acts?) down a corridor. He starts to walk to the pack, cautious, his tail swishing and his face looking happy, but nervous~

Shadow began to fidget and whimper as he always did when he was nervous. He quickly realized though that this would attract noise so he quickly shut his mouth and then after a few deep breaths he looked around, nervous that they were being followed.......
