The guard, Walker, or better known in his company by his Code-Name, Leo, turns towards Tom's direction, and taps on his earpiece, with his voice blocked off from his helmet... his NV Goggles still fully functioning, and allowing him a clear visage of Tom.

"Is the EVAC Chopper at the end of the tunnel yet, T?  These guys are getting worried that we're actually with The Ringmaster... I got the footage needed to pin this 'Ringmaster' down, though... seems he's been catching these guys out in the wilderness, and holding 'em hostage for quite some time, now... I doubt if they even realize they've been capped by a crook from our standards... guy's looking at a helluva lot of jail time after this footage goes out to the media."

As he says this in his headpiece, he's double-sure that it's connected to his group's private channel, using an alternative Radio Source so as to keep the other guards out.

While waiting for Tom's reply, he lowers his mouthpiece, leans closer to them, and whispers, "There's a few more of my company that'll help out when we reach the sewers... don't worry, you can trust them."

[Wilco Whiteheart]

*Wilco nods* I feel ya... I was the same as you... Living free... then waking up here... *He tears up in sadness and joy, happy to be going back home*


-Tom nods- Yeah. You better hurry up though. The others will be finishing their breaks soon. I'll help you guys. Hold on... -turns and sees Will- Hey!


~Will hears the "Hey!" and turns to the guard, who waves him over. He runs over and slides beside him~

"Okay, i'm just..." Light pauses "... It's just unbelievable I'm gonna see my family again so unbelieving i didn't believe he was with us for a sec sorry"

Keahi stayed quiet. Not much of a choice in trusting them. She was anxious, yeah. Very. But she just kept a grip. Not once mentioning how happy she was. She got to go home, to lice with a snake as a sister and a lion as a father. Of course, no genetic relation, but she still knew them as family. She couldn't wait to go.

Shadow felt nervous whipping his head around so fast that it was a blur, this way and that. He suddenly felt alone in that moment, so alone. He slowly inched his way closer to his friends feeling comfort in numbers, something he hadn't been able to do for a while now. Letting his mind wander he wondered what he would do when he escaped. He'd never actually though of it before then. His sister was no longer with him and as far as he knew his parents were also dead. Everyone one else seemed to know what they would do but he was left clueless and more alone that ever.

[Wilco Whiteheart]

*Wilco leaves Light and walks by Shadow* Hey... You ok?


-Tom talks quietly to Will, telling him what to do if the guards arrive*


~Will listens and nods~

"Oh- uh yeah, yeah I'm fine, thanks for asking." Lied Shadow. After a long pause he sighed and looked up "Was it that obvious?" Shadow said with a small smile.

[Wilco Whiteheart]

*Wilco nods* Yeah... It was...

Shadow gave a light chuckle and a sigh. Looking down he said "It's just...even if I do escape I don't really know what I'm going to do, or where I should go or..... He trailed off and then looking up, Shadow said "I guess I'll just figure it out as it happens, aye? Anyway how are you doing?"

[lightstone]

"shadow, if you have problems of where you should go you could always stay with me no problem" Light suggested

[Furry64]

Shadow looked up at the fox, mouth slightly agape with misty eyes. After a moment of silence he pulled himself toughter enough to "Y-You'd do that for me?"

She watched the conversation. Oh, that's quite sad. And a bit touching. She nodded to Light in approval, then went back to her act. Never knew who could come by. Her ears twitched occasionally and she focused on the ground. Having other guards around her didn't help, but hopefully she could tell if someone was coming.

[lightstone]

"well, yeah. I have to discus this with my family i guess but you have been nothing but nice to me. Plus I've been getting nightmares recently but that's not important"

[Wilco Whiteheart]

*Wilco looked at Shadow and Light and smiled. He looks at Keahi and slows down to walk beside her, hugging her gently*
