The only way the quality could be boosted is if I hadn't had to make the picture smaller to fit the rules.
But the background is the quality it's supposed to be, and the fursona's quality is only a tiny bit off...

*groans and puts her face in her hands, mumbles* It's the outfit that that character of mine wears. I didn't make the outfit, so I can't change the color (except in pictures, but I'm not going to because that's how the official outfit is, it's worn by a character in a show), plus I like the outfit the way it is.
Sorry if it sounds like I'm going off on you. I'm not trying to. It's just that everybody seems to have an issue with the shirt because it's the same color as some of her fur, but it obviously shows up on the black parts. Guess I should've taken it from the back. :P
