Yikes. It was hard to be nosy when she didn't know what most of it meant. She gave up after a short while, placing everything where it had been. Roxi went back to the two canines, noticing the vixen was gone. Hm. She was quite good at snooping... Though she should have more respect...

Hunter still looks unconvinced. "What do I even tell my family?" he asks. "Isnt it going to seem weird if I...stop aging and consuming food all of a sudden?" He looks around the shop. "They're not going to understand any of this. I mean, I can hardly believe it myself, and I'm the one that had my soul torn out!" Hunter's face contorts in panic again, the fur on the back of his neck standing on end.

"You can still eat and drink, it just didn't do anything for you anymore... Well it will speed up healing.. But as for telling anyone... I would recommend against it... hard now days with them fancy devices, but trust me it's easyer"

Hunter considers Pyrus's words carefully. Everything the white wolf has said sounds crazy, yet Hunter feels that he can trust him.


After a little hesitation, he comes to a decision. "Alright, I'll do research with you, if you think it'll help us figure out how to undo this." He scratches his chin thoughtfully. "My dad's always bugging me to get a part-time job, anyway. Can I come by here after school everyday? I know school doesnt matter as much now that I'm...immortal. But my family will get suspicious if I suddenly drop out."

"I wouldn't want one in my head either," Hunter says in acknowledgement.
