Electronical components and devices.

Mostly industrial electronics such as old electromechanical relays and installation components. I like to try if I can get them to work, and then find out exactly how they work.

And from most modern / commercial things that I get my hands on, I just take them apart to salvage the components for my own projects. But sometimes that's tricky, because the modern stuff always seems to use proprietary chinezium chips that aren't really usefull for anything but what they were designed to do.

GameInformer Magazines. Got a membership like 2 years ago and still get them in the mail. Plus, always good to have an inexplicable collection of magazines.

I collect carnivorous plants. Right now I came to a stop because I have to rethink this a bit. I still have one that I can't care for properly that I have to give away, and I need a way to collect and store rainwater reliably, which isn't all that easy around here.

Well I almost lost one of my fingers to a Venus Flytrap :D
In all seriousness though, pretty much all carnivorous plants are harmless to handle. Their digestive solution is weak, the digestion period is around a week, their traps are also quite fragile not able to withstand the strength of larger creatures. The only two genera I know of can fit, if you deliberately put them in, hands or fingers are Sarracenia and Nepenthes. :P

Like a predictable dragon, I hoard crystals. I have 156 of them at the moment, with no signs of slowing down my acquisition anytime soon.

...Someone help me.

Yarn is my collection of choice. Though I'm trying to use up most of my stash since it's getting to be more than I can find storage for. Makes me sound a bit more like a cat than a dragon.

I also collect anything dragon related. I'm up to probably close to 200 at this point.

Though I don't really collect anything now, I used to collect feathers. The collection is still sitting on the top shelf in my foom though. Except the crown of the collection, the peacock feather is too big for the top shelf.

I also used to collect feathers!
Once I moved last month tho, almost all of them were lost;w;
I used to dabble in Vulture Culture and got a LOT of cool feathers from it.

Right now tho, I have a big collection of bottle caps, those tabs on pop cans, and pins/buttons. I especially love enamal pins and get a couple from every con I go to, or some I fall in love with from online shops when I have the money
