Things you don't know why you did?

What's one thing you remember you did as a kid, but to this day still don't really understand why you did it?
Let's filter it to harmless or at least not too harmful stuff.

So I Was going into 3rd grade right? and I was heading to a new school for older kids grades 3-5, now my dads letting me play on the swing set there after school hours and I was havin a good time, but I must have thought, "hey...birds fly...that looks pretty **censor** fun" SO I LET GO WHEN IM AS HIGH AS I CAN GO (not very high considering that I am a 3rd grader, but still) and I go kinda far, I was relatively close to slamming my head into the shools wall (but I didnt)

Sometime in 1st to 3rd grade, my friend and I let air out of the older kids' bikes and threw the caps into thorny bushes, because we thought the tyres had too much air in them and figured we'd help out.
...Needless to say, no-one was pleased

When I was little I would collect redback spiders from under rocks.  I have no idea why i would do such a foolish thing

i actually tried making my dog talk by howling at it. don’t know why tho.

I jumped off the roof of my house and landed on the driveway, luckily i was unharmed.

For some reason when i was 6, I threw a PlayStation 1 out the window, no clue why, just did lol

Well, I remember slapping myself in the face with a paddle when I was 14, in the middle of gym class. Hard.

Why would I do that, you ask? It's still a mystery to this day...
