Mesmerin caught his rifle and fired the integrated Disruptor at the rope, severing it and dropping him to the floor. Mesmerin's rifle clattered off to the side, and another of the black figures dropped to the floor in front of him. There was no mistake.
The Xenomorphs had found them.
Molly started screaming, but before Mesmerin could react, the Xenomorph before him was suddenly screeched as it was stabbed from behind by a pair of blades, lifted off its feet, and slammed down on it's head, before a crimson lightsaber went active and decapitated it. The shimmering figure de-cloaked, revealing a crimson-furred Anthro Lucario, adorned in what looked to be armor pieced together from various sources, and a hunting mask reminiscent of Yaut'ja Hunters, but custom-tailored to fit his face. The laser sight on his mask went active, and plasma casters rose up behind both his shoulders, but instead of targeting Mesmerin, Sora, Emila or Rae, it fired on two more Xenomorphs on the ceiling.
Mesmerin was tempted to flee, but something about this hunter made him stay. The Lucario Hunter made no motion to stop Mesmerin as he got his rifle and stood up. There was a hiss and footfalls as the Xenomorphs pulled back.
"We don't have much time," the hunter said. "The Xenomorphs will be back soon, and in greater numbers; and believe me, there are many more than what you may think. I'd advise we get the hell out of here before they come back."
