Is this possible?

Hey everyone!

I have a question since I know very little about the therian/otherkin stuff... Is it possible to become/feel like an animal character that already exists? Around a few months back I started noticing that I could see Tony the Tiger's tail around me when I sat down? When looking in the mirror I even noticed faint ears that matched his! I'm sorry I know this all sounds rediculous but I really don't know where else to go with this issue... I could never ask someone about this in real life without being ridiculed so I figured I might as well try the forums.

I like to think so. I fully believe in therianthropy myself and many times I would mention that I have lycanthropy which got me into a lot of trouble on DA, one of my bullies even going as far as calling it "clinical lycanthropy" which, according to the science of fantastical magic, shapeshifting, and animal biology, clinical lycanthropy doesn't exist.
DA is deactivated due to being bullied, don't bother visiting my profile.

I can see my wings, and sometimes my tail. Just glad I can't feel them, or I would be hurting 24/7.
