Making my first fursuit
« on: May 15, 2019, 07:07:30 PM »
I am making my first fursuit, it's of my sona SeaSpray. She is a griffin/gryphon (however you wanna spell it) that is mostly blue. I have been making her head for a month now.
Below is a photo of the finished foam base, without eyes. I haven't got a photo of the head with eyes in and I'm currently working on stitching the fleece for the beak, soon I'll get that done and work on the fur for the head and ears, and finishing glueing the eyes in.
I am using plastic canvas for the eyes, anti pill fleece, faux fur from hobby lobby, fashion fur from joann's and poly foam from walmart. Yes the furs are two different brands and two different textures, but I wanted it that way. The head of a gryphon is feather rather than fur, so I wanted the head to feel different from the body. So far everything is going according  to plan.
