One thing Iv realised over my time with other furries...
How come furries are a lot more kinder than humans?
Iv met many humans who are horrible, who bully others and so on...
But Iv NEVER met a horrible furry.
Sure, Iv met a weird one or 2, ok maybe one was a bit worse than the other... but they weren't exactly horrible.
At my school...most people are judged by thier appearance...nice huh? (Im being VERY sarcastic) >:|
But anyway....what do you think?

An interesting thing my friend did to test this, was make a human account on imvu and go to furry public rooms as a human. First thing that happened was he was trash talked and told to leave before ever doing anything at all. He then went into his main account, which was furry, and went to human rooms. They did not have a problem with him and treated him just like any other person.

Alot of people on imvu who are furries claim that humans hate furries, this is not true. there are 6 billions +/- people on this earth. I doubt more then 1/6 even know what is a furry.

In terms of the internet there are always people hating just for the heck of it.

I say it does not depend on you being a furry or human. it just depends on the person. Anybody can be mean you just havent met a mean furry because your not on the recieving end.

No offense taken.. We are losers.

I dont'see how you can say that SD,
Everyone's deifferent, just because we're all seperated over vast distances
doesn't mean we're losers.

I doubt SD meant she considers us losers. Rather, when a human finds out we are furry, a large percentage of the time they will consider us "losers" for being involved in such a thing. Kind of like being called "strange."

and we've got a winner, i think this guy here is right on the ball, i mean, no offense to you guys, but when i was asking questions about the fandom, and i said i found it to be a bit strange to pull on a suit and go to everyday places, the guy started cussing at me for being a (censored word) fursecutor and blocked me right after.... all i said was that i found it a bit strange (still do btw, but thats off-topic)

in conclusion: furries seem nicer than other people (plz dont use the term human, because we're all equally human) because furries have the same lifestyle

i guess this is true, i mean.. most of the non furry people i have talked with oputside of the forrum have been pretty close minded, so i can see where the entire "loser" attitude thay have towards us can stand. my english is a little wierd in this one, but whatev, grammar was never my strong point. ^_^V

No I was actually referring to myself and my group of friends at school. I wasn't calling anyone one here a loser...

I think you gotta look at it like this, average humans have no bonds. We are dominant creatures by nature who are agressive and dangerous. But add a interest and suddenly bonds are formed. Be it The furry fandom or football. Common passions bring people together, to see past our instincts to become more then we are.

I naturally like other furries because I know they are just like me. We share a unspoken bond.

On the other side of it people with other interests might clash with furries and you naturally don't get along. Thus the whole dominant thing is braught out. Masters of our domain kinda deal. Some might seem they do it just because they can but I can garuntee you somewhere inside something about us offends them.

That brings me to the human needs for power. All humans like to be dominant in their environment. What happens when a furry shows up with friends and the guy/girl doesn't know what is going on. They loose that sense of control and usually thats where things take a turn for the worse. Wars have been faught billions have died because of this. We furries like something nobody else can understand because they aren't furries. By being ourselves we take away that element of control.

Ok now I'm just rambling I hope any of that makes sense its hard to put it into words

excuse me, but isnt that called "superiority complex" in short? i've said this for quite a while, but it seems to be ignored: furries = humans with a different lifestyle, just like punk, goth activists, but those consider themselves human, i think "haters" (i used quote-marks because haters kill, furries dont get killed by their haters) would decrease at a enormous rate if you guys would stop considering yourself some different species
i hope i didnt offend anyone, but its the truth and it needs to be put out here

I didn't say we were a different species, but the whole dominant thing is real. Its instinct. We also follow herd mentality. which is why different groups of people and interests get along well.

Although people may not say it , most speak as if being a furry as if they are a anthropomorphic creature.

We are humans.

The furry fandom is just that, a fandom.

Its like any other social movement with a gathering.

Do you think emo, goth or punks refer to other people as humans?
