He removes a needle and a lighter from his pack, he ignites the small bic and holds the needle in the flame to sterilize it. He took a hose from his pack also and pulled the syringe from the needle. He placed the hose in the needl and then stuck the contraption in his fore arm. He handed her the end of the hose.

"You have five minutes before the vain will seal itself, take as much as you can."
