Thank you. ^^
Another work that I put a lot of effort into: Link
There's some meaning behind it, but I'm not quite sure how to put it into words. Was sort of inspired by Hurt's song "Wars"... I suppose I'll just leave it at that.
Maybe the meaning, is that one must have friends to save them from the abyss of emptyness?
Close, but not quite. I've thought about it some more though and now I feel like I can explain it better, so here it is if you'd like to know. ^^
The chorus of "Wars" goes like this:
I think of all the days in my life,
Where I could have done something more.
Yes I remember the days in my life,
Where I could have done something more.
There is never a day that goes by,
That's a good day to die.
Please open your eyes,
To the millions of lives,
That will senselessly die in our wars. The song is of course actually talking about wars between countries, but I took it to mean more of an "internal war" kind of thing. The falling wolf represents the outcasts of society, who sometimes can't keep themselves from tripping over the edge of the cliff, so to speak, and often there are people who will stand by and just watch them fall, even though they know the person is in trouble. The one paw reaching down toward the falling wolf represents someone who at least kind of gives it an effort, but is either too late by then or just didn't try hard enough.
So there ya go.
On a side note, I got my new drawing tablet in the mail today!!! Squeeee~
(Still getting used to it, lol.)
