Yup! And she's even broken the habit of running outside whenever the front door opens!   ^_^

Nice, that probably makes things a lot easier. I have a friend who owns a dog, and it's always a battle to keep him from bolting whenever a door opens.

I think it's because of all the noises and the allure of doing something they don't usually get the chance to do. I mean, they do get to go out the front door whenever they get taken for walks, but it's not like they get to decide where to go or anything.  0:)

Yeah they can get pretty excitable about new things.

Especially new people. That's one of the main reasons why she would do it. :facepaw:

10 to go!

I've never actually owned a dog.. Except from when I was very little - our parents had a little JRT named Queenie. I barely remember her, though! I was very small. We're thinking of adopting a pug from this rescue agency around here, though. . .

Only 9 now!

Aw, pugs are one of my favorites! I'd recommend a dog personally. They are a fair bit of work, but probably not as much as those ferrets your family has/had in all honesty.  XD

I'm more of a cat person myself. I have a cat named Nyx. Originally she was my parent's cat, but, she latched onto me the most, so when I moved out, she came with. She's bugging me right now as I type this lol.

Fair, they're less... physically exhausting most of the time. I have a cat as well, about 13 years old we think. She's currently stopping me from making my bed. XD

Cats are one of the few animals that can get in the way of everything and yet still be loveable.
