With bodies shaken and heads held high, Long hair, tattered jeans, sweat slicked skin.
People seated on rocky floors, sturdy benches and leaning trees,
Hands filled by traces of this.
Mournful strings wind with angst filled koos,
Music plays, echoing into the dark, spilling into the empty city streets
I hear crying, shouting, moaning , laughing.
Voices of people I'll never meet, never know,
Ears are filled by traces of this.
Cold frozen foods that sting the teeth,
Tastes I cant name, place, line this narrow path.
Hot, burning foods steaming throughout.
Memories are filled by the essence of this.
As Music Plays, with life-filled lyrics of passive knowing,
As lights dance, playing across faces looking into the next,
as bodies entwine, loner and lover alike finding warmth,
as scents caress, demanding our physical reaction,
and as the Earth moves, holding us close and always accommodating....
Life and Humanity are all of this.
