The dragon smiled to himself as a small lithe feline caled out to his army, called him a false king. These mortals will fall, ge thought. They will lose, they will die. He dove from the pier with a shriek, spreading his wings he sped towards them, spitting fire.

In the street Simel looked up, seeing the orange streak diving at them he dove forward and tackled Shadow, pinning him to the ground.

Shadow caught sight of the flame with just enough time to say "Oh bloody hell" before Simel tackled him. Once the dragon had passed he ran elbow first into the guard tower wall, the one he had carved the runes onto, unaware he had taken Simel by the paw after he shook free of his grasp. "Alright... that was not one of my better moves..."

Shadow stood in the hole in the wall, watching Simel run to Tidus, absolutely stunned. Then, before he could stop himself he was running back into the street, hurling ice into the sky at the dragon. "And so the false king shows his true nature, a beast and nothing more!" He turns to Tidus and Simel as he sprints to another nearby building. "I'll draw him away, and we can regroup in the castle!" He hurls more ice, seeing the shards shatter on the dragons scales. Probably not life-threatening to him, but they must hurt him.

Drawing his katana he nods to Simel, "Very well brother, i will search for any traps or guards nearby and make the fight as even as possible for you." he gives him a hug before heading into the shadows seeking out his prey.

"Thank you." Simel claps his brothers shoulder and jumps out of the ditch, darting bolts of flame from the circling dragon.

Shadow was well on his way to casting one of his nastier spells at the dragon when he simply disappeared in a cloud of smoke. "I thought I had you banished. Oh well, you always were a slow learner."
"Hello again, Renard..."

Simelo saw shadow dissapear in a cloud and momentarily stopped, he knew what happened and could do nothing to stop it, Shadow was facing his former master. A claw fell ffrom the sky and snatched him up, the dragons scaled face was so close to his, it reeked of sulfer and rot. "I remember you little fox, you and your family. Your daughter was quite the meal." It gave him a wicked smile, Simel big into his scales, tearing through the thin spot in its claw, he fell.

"Brother!" he broke from his hiding spot and ran after his falling brother. Before he could reach him several large talons swept across his face knocking him several yards away and cutting open his face. "No..." he spat out

"It's good to see that I still have the honor of killing you." The two circled one another, a dark feline on one side and a white wolf on the other, his icy blue eyes set on his former apprentice. "Likewise." Two steps later Shadow stopped and hurled an icicle at the wolf. He ducked, but too slow. The shard tore through his shirt, leaving a red stripe on his side. But his laughter left Shadow dumbstruck, even as he revealed the amulet. "Recognize this? Our last king commissioned it for that little boyfriend of yours. An amulet of healing, very rare. I thought I could put it to better use."

Simel puts out a hand and forces his eyes shut, willing himself to stop from  falling, he had forgotten many of the tricks that Shadow had taught him in years past, but luckily his memory came through. THe dragon swept back around and swept him up once more, but Simel was ready with a spell waiting.

"Then again, I suppose this would be useful to a puny little kit fighting a big bad dragon." Renard smirked, walking to the library's main window. It looked down on the battle below, and the wolfs tail showed that he was enjoying the view. "Oh, very useful." Renard turned, and Shadow just had time to create an ice wall in front of him before the wolf sent a bolt of lightning at him.
"Clever, grounding the lightning... Maybe you weren't a complete failure as an apprentcie..." At that Shadow rushed the wolf, throwing fireballs to keep his former master in place. He lunged for the amulet, but Renard knocked him aside with ease. The feline landed on a desk near the window, rolled off, and got to his feet. "Then again, I could be wrong..." "You were wrong to cross me... You were wrong to banish me..." He rushed again, zig-zagging and once more hurling fire. Renard was about to knock him away when Shadow conjured a fireball between his former master and himself, and in the second the wolf pulled away he raked his claws across the wolfs chest. The wolf cried out and sent a bolt of lightning through Shadow, blasting him against a bookshelf. "You insolent whelp! I'm through toying with you! I hope you've-Aaahhhh!" Renard fell to a knee, clutching at where Shadow had scratched him. The wound was healed, but three streaks of green fire showed where the wounds had been. The same fire burned on Shadows claws, though it was slowly fading as he lay limp on the floor. "What!? What have you done, you-Gahh! I-I can't die! Not... Not like this..." The wolf fell to one side, his eyes fixed on where his former apprentice lay.
