The Unforgiven

[Vee Katame: His Wolfy]

She tried to keep her flames up but felt herself getting weary. "Little one? Where do you come off saying that? From the looks of it you're pretty close to my age." She scoffed, but as she talked on it was easy to tell that she was growing more weary every second. "I guess the stuck-up, high class military adds more years to you mentally so you think you're better than everybody else just because you haven't done anything 'wrong'." She sneered, her flames just covering her fists now and her mind losing focus. "Oh great, thanks, I've been up for a month straight, I could really use some 'nap time'." She chuckled, not knowing what would happen once she was asleep. And, before she could get another snide comment out, she was slumping down on the road and passing out.

[Dr. Strange]

She grinned, straightening up. "Got any food with ya?" Looking around, she felt the unusual urge to hug him. She moved to do so then stopped. 'What are you doing, huh? You barely know him and you trust him enough to not murder you when you touch him? Come on, you cannot be going soft now!'

[Arke]

He grabs the Unforgiven, hardly caring to be gentle, and starts to drag her into the fortress. As he passes Sam, he smiles. "Yeah, we've got plenty of food. I should know, I delivered it." He starts toward the garage, dragging the Unforgiven past a pile of boxes marked 'Raman'. "Feel free to stay out there, though." And just like that, he disappeared into the building along with the last boxes in the food delivery to the Trooper station.

She felt herself being grabbed and dragged but to her it was part of her nightmare that enveloped her. In her nightmare, she was being dragged into the northern part of the city but it was like it had turned into a giant freezer set to way below zero. She hated the cold and the uppity, high class northern part of the city. She was afraid of freezing. She loved fire and warmth, but in this nightmare, she didn't have her pyrokinesis. She couldn't warm herself, she could only be locked up and left there, alone and freezing. She moved around a bit in the lieutenant's grasp, shivering.

[Dr. Strange]

Watching him walk past, she turned and followed, ignoring the urge for the moment. "How long have you been here?" Her glittering blue eyes strayed to the Unforgiven in his hands and she shivered.

The Trooper gives the Unforgiven a stern kick before dragging her further into what was essentially a fortified police station. "Here? All of thirty minutes. And I already made a friend, lucky me." He tosses the Unforgiven into a cell, the doors steel and the windows a clear glass-like material. "You hungry? I know I'm starving." In fact, he could barely stand up. He is not entirely sure how he can knock people out, but he knows it drains him horribly.

[Dr. Strange]

"Yea, haven't eaten in a few days. I've been in town for a month. Haven't met anyone worth talknig to til now though." She shrugged as he threw the Unforgiven in the cell. "What do you usually do around here?" She looked around casually, still unable to shake the impulse to hug him.

[Arke]

He smiles, finding a table and sighing in relief as he sits down. "Here we pretty much stay here, do what we can to keep those worthless souls outside from killing each other, or us." A human comes by with a pair of trays, setting two cafeteria style meals in front of them. "But what are you doing on the South side?"

[Dr. Strange]

"Thanks." She gave her attention to the Trooper. "I wander here and there. What're you doing here?" The impulse was still there and it'd never been there before or as intense. "Uh, I got a question." She looked at her tray, taking a nibble at the meal, a light blush coloring her cheeks.

She lets out a cry when she's kicked. That and being tossed were in here nightmare. She was kicked by her dragger and tossed into a prison cell, but it was outside, and just to toy with her there was something in the cell with animated flames but no heat. She needed heat, but she couldn't get it. She was going insane and she was starting cry, her tears freezing quickly in the nightmare but actually falling all the way in reality. She never cried in reality, not consciously. It was weird to her in the nightmare that she was actually doing so. How could this happen to me? She thought to herself, but her brain was quitting on her in her nightmare environment so she couldn't make an escape from it. Her breathing was becoming staggered, like she was really freezing, and she curls up into a ball on the floor of the cell. She just wanted her fire back, she wanted to be tough again, she wanted to live.

[Arke]

He nods, taking a sip from the drink on his tray, which thankfully was loaded with caffeine. "Go ahead, ask away." The girl seemed embarrased about something, though the Trooper had never been good at understanding people.

[Dr. Strange]

"Uhm, well, I was wondering if it would be ok for me to hug you?" She looked up at him through her short bangs, blushing a tad darker. The pulled pork sandwich just sat on the tray, along with the sprite.

[Arke]

He looks at her a bit confused. "Er, sure..." The Troopers confusion was understandable, given the emotional detachment he had been developing for the past few years, ever since he had been drafted into officers training three years ago.

[Dr. Strange]

She smiled slightly, standing. Moving aorund the table, she wrapped her arms gently around his shoulders and hugged him, laying her head on his shoulder for a minute. "Sorry about this." She whispered in his ear, lingering for a second more then letting go to stand beside him. "I'm Samantha."

She gets low on air now and she starts talking in her sleep, although it wasn't very loud because of the shortness of breath. "Can't breathe. Need heat. Need fire. Fire to wake me up inside. Can't die. Freezing. Gonna die..." Her voice fades the rest of the way and her breathing stops.
