Jelly just... freezes, awed by the display (though especially intrigued by the use of magic, making him wonder if he could do that too).

i notice jellys puzzeled look, and feel an explanation is in order before the final act. " you see jelly, while dragons are full of magical energy, not all can control its flow. me myself, i can command a little, but not as much as some other dragons. you may be able to, but it requires much practice and patience."

"Well..." he tilts his head curiously at the larger dragon, "how do I start?" :?

" hmmmm.......... weeellll...... lets start with something simple." i then pick a rock out of the grass and hold it in my outstretched paw. " we will have you levitate this rock. you start by clearing youre mind, then feeling deep inside yourself. the magic feels like a deep river flowing through youre very being. in order to make the rock float. all you must do is will it to do so."

Jay extends his small claws towards the rock, picking it up, checking it's weight and shape. Replacing it on the ground he wills it to move, initially unable to do so. He goes over the description of how to tap into the magic and realises something, it as similar to the way he shapeshifted naturally. With the new perspective, he stares at the rock again, a smile spreading across his face as it judders slightly and rises slightly off the ground.

deeply impressed by his show of insight, i clap ny talons together enthusiaticly. "very well done jelly, that is an especially difficult skill for most dragons to master, simply tapping into the power is a huge step for any dragon."

"I... have a little experience with it" he gestures down to his tiny dragon body, "how do you think I got like this?" ^_^

He focusses harder on the rock, moving it left and right, even higher off the ground than before.

The little dragon drops the rock and tries breathing fire again, achieving (once again) a lot of smoke and only minimal flame. He laughs a little, "Well, at least I can get something right"

laughing at the spetacle, i place a supportive claw on jellys shoulders. "its alright, like i said, its fairly difficult to breathe the elements, and its quite different from tapping into magic. im not that surprised that youre having trouble, seeing as to how youre usually a bunny."

He gives up, clambering back up to bahumut's shoulder, their's a strange grumbling noise, "I... I think that means I'm hungry" the noise sounded different than when he was any other species, and he was too enthralled with learning how to be a dragon to realize the hunger before.

hearing the rumbling in jellys stomach, and my stomach starts to rumble. "i am also quite hungry. dragons are omnivores, so we can eat whatever we choose. what sounds good to you? my treat."

Jelly points off into the forest, "There's a good herd of elk around here..." he doesn't bother explaining that, despite the stereotype, he had been a meat-eating bunny too - as well as having hunted as different species

He licks his lips as the elk come into view, jumping off bahumut's shoulder onto a low-hanging tree branch. From there, he swings a little closer, spreading his wings and pouncing on the nearest elk. It panics and tries to run as the tiny dragon's claws dig into the sides of it's neck - unfortunatley, it's at that point that Jelly remember that he is in fact, a tiny dragon, and doesn't have the weight anymore to bring it down. As such, he's dragged around comically by the elk, barely holding onto it's neck.
