her eyes went from left to right. unsure of where he was..."i...i..i dont know" she sobbed and closed her eyes briefly as a suddenbout of tiredness over took her.  she didnt realise the tears that streamed down her face but she was aware of someone holding her so she hugged closer

luke was frantically climbing a rope when he reached the top he shouted down "so long blood-suckers!!!" as he suddenly stopped as he saw a small group and someone who looked like "max? is that you!?

she jumped at the familiar voice, but kept her wet face in the other direction "l....is that you" she asked quietly. trying not to cry again, she didnt want to look stupid so she curled up and rubbed her eyes getnly ((hay Luke, do you want to be my older bro!))

Flames remained silent and in the shadows, not wanting to interfere. He was concerned about Maxi, but decided that it was best that he let the others take care of her for now.

"Dont move" commanded Alex, leveling his shotgun at the newcomer. "Who are you, and how did you get in here?" His eyes were set, his finger on the trigger.

"i..im fine " she mumbled. she really wanted to hug him but she was scared that he had forgotten her and probably wouldn`t want to know her after he saw her eyes..."i missed you so much luke" she began still hugged up to Alex. and then heeard what Alex said "No alex thats my brother...i lost him in the mess and i neve thought i would see him again...at least it sounds like him"

Shadow wanders in, his ghillie suit dripping wet. "No need to worry, he's fine unless he's been bitten." He turns to Luke and smiles, pulling back his hood. "Bloody hell man, what's it been, two years? Not since Somalia, what's for sure."

"Move forward slowly" he commanded, taking a step back, bringing the girl with him, and pushing Shadow backwards. "Maxi, tell me if its really him." He waited patiently for the man to step into the light.

she growled "how the hell am i suppose to know i cant see any more!" she cried and wriggled out his grip and slowly ran out into the main room and his under a bed

"You cant wha-?" he said, shocked. "You didnt tell me that!" He turned bac to Luke, and beckoned him forwards. "Sorry, had to be careful. I swear these undead are getting smarter by the day." He chuckled. "Nearly got ambushed by two of them the other day."

Flames couldn't watch any longer and decided to take action. He stepped out of the shadows and  turned to walk out of the room. "I'm checking on her..." He slowly approached the bed she was hiding under and sat down so that he could see her, all curled up under there.

she curlep up and woshed she hadn`t done that...who had that other strange man been, she had known her brother so well. she sniffled slitghtly but stayed hidden, curling up and then jumping as a sound came over to her. she peeped out from under the bed and looked in totally the wrong direction "thankyou for helping me today" she mumbled and then shuffled back under after getting a pwillow and bwankie
