well, Russia's always been kind of aggressive if im not mistaking, so them breaking the ceasefire doesnt really come as a surprise.. they probably agreed to it to make their next move a surprise.

i dont think its going further than just threatening.. if they attack Poland, they'd probably have half the continent of europe on their neck

This is actually an important subject. Peace treaties have been signed but nbeither force is pulling back. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Bush Jr. goes to ally with Georgia we will be facing, not a second cold war, but a true war to end all wars, the third and final world war.

No offense to any one from Texas or supporting of him, but the man is just that satupid that he will do it with out looking any farther into it.

Yes this is a touchy and serious subject,but I think that no one should take sides. Both Russia and Georgia are at fault.
So Let them fight.They will only lose economy and political status.

I agree, but the problem with it is if other countries become invovled. Remember the ally system caused the first world war as well as the second.

Thing is the entire world is more interdependent than then, Russia is no longer the ultimate evil and eastern european nations may be opposed to foreign nations taking part in a european affair.

Russia, as stated before, has massive amounts of natural resources, and the rest of the world will most likely be seeking diplomacy over warfare.
